  • In this video, I show you how to paint this gorgeous poppy meadow with acrylics using only a sea sponge! No brushes needed! Enjoy!

    CANVAS USED:
12x16" Artists Loft brand Level 2 canvas.
    COLORS USED:
I used Liquitex Basics acrylic paints, except for the yellow ochre which is Windsor & Newton Galeria brand. If you don't have these exact colors on hand from this list, feel free to substitute them with similar colors.
    - Titanium White
    - Pthalo Blue
    - Cadmium Yellow Deep
    - Burnt Umber
    - Yellow Ochre
    - Hooker's Green
    - Cadmium Red Deep
    - Alizarin Crimson
    - Red Oxide
    - Mars Black
    OTHER SUPPLIES:
I used Royal & Langnickel brand sea sponges that I purchased from Michael's crafts. It is also helpful to have some latex gloves to help keep your hands clean.

I think it looks good, but I always thought objects further away should have darker values., and less detail. I will have to go check other ones to see how that works.

    • @patriciajansen5484
      @patriciajansen5484 4 ปีที่แล้ว

rule of thumb for the most part...lighter values, less detail if you want depth
