I mean the truth is that the musical never gets that far. Washington was sworn into office in 1789. The finale would be in 87, probably a soft song about a return to home getting interrupted by a storm
They already made that but it's a miniseries called John Adams on HBO Max. Lin-Manuel is actually familiar with it and included a reference (when the King says 'John Adams? I know him)
I suppose if Hamilton was President, Hamilton would have to be a three act, three hour long play, with an entire extra act dedicated to his Presidency.

Hamilton (the play) only came into existence because of how important a seemingly forgetable man was. The man was never president, not someone you memorise off a list.
Had he been president, the play's original writers might have targetted some other historic figure if at all to write about. Maybe even Jefferson in this timeline.

If anything it's just weird that it's popular. It's probably the first and often only live musical with a modern script that most Americans know of.
The musical happened because of Lin-Manuel Miranda buying Ron Chernow's Alexander Hamilton biography at an airport bookstore one day.
Heck, one of Charlemagne's sons got a musical.
There was a alt-history musical called "BEST!" which reverses the career of former Beatles drummer Pete Best where he becomes one of, if not THE most influential figure in modern music while thr Beatles are reduced to nothing more but a one hit wonder.
What absolute insanity. I appreciate this since the few alternate scenarios i've seen of Hamilton being president are kind of rosy. Highlighting his desire to end slavery and how the military would have been developed sooner and better under his rule. I like how this emphasizes his bad judgement calls.
Really makes you appreciate Adams' efforts to keep the newborn US out of war doesn't it? Stick to writing domestic policy, Hamilton lol

To be honest, I was pretty unsure of the necessity of offering potential sequels to your scenarios. BUT NOW I NEED ONE FOR THIS.
The man was so controversial one theory is that the natural born citizen clause was written into the presidential requirements specifically to disqualify Hamilton since he was born in the Carribbean not in any of the 13 colonies.
Except it didn't disqualify him, because all the people legally resident in the United States at the time the Constitution was signed were recognized as native. Otherwise, none of the early presidents would have qualified, as none of them were born in the United States, which didn't exist yet. There was no legal distinction between those who were born in Virginia when it was a British colony and those who were born in St. Kitts.
Wait... George Washington wasn't naturally born in US either since Virginia was British. Not a "US territory" it was straight up not part of USA which didn't exist yet.

After that, they had to be born within the United States (or, based on later case law, born to two parents who are US citizens living abroad), but they had to have a way for the adult generation to be recognized as citizens at the birth of the nation.

John Adams being the man to hold the union together is not something that I would have thought of, but damn is it interesting.
I find the idea of a pissed off George Washington funny.
Another thing to note about Hamilton: he was born on Nevis (of St. Kitts and Nevis) and grew up in the Caribbean. He didn't grow up with the state-rivalry mindset or biases that would make, say a Pennsylvanian distrust a Virginian. He was willing to work with both North and South and not be influenced by state-on-state politics.

Does the timeline really change all that much? I'm pretty sure Reconstruction was ending regardless of who ended up in the white house and idk if his other positions were that radically different enough to drastically change events moving forward. That said I'm not an expert on him or that Era of US history so maybe I'm missing something here.

I don't think there's enough for a full episode. However I do think that could make up part of an anthology/3 mini-episodes in one, along with other close presidencies that wouldn't have altered too much but are worth noting

Had an invasion happened, the country could have been split. The Soviets had demanded that everywhere else so they likely would have there too. The only difference is that the Soviets probably wouldn’t have taken as much since they were not a major naval power yet and would have had difficulties with the island terrain. They would have had trouble getting troops to Japan but once there, they would have fought well. Had an invasion occurred, the Kuriles and Hokkaido would probably have become a separate country.

As someone who’s studied Hamilton for awhile now in working on a historical fiction series about his life, this was awesome and super intriguing. I would absolutely love a Part Two!!

you should make a what-if video about the egyptian-ottoman war where egypt takes constatinople which could happen by either the european powers not interveening or egypt(muhhamed ali) doesnt hope that france would take their sides(which they didnt) and maybe he makes an alliance with the uk or russia or even both, this would be interesting because this would affect ww1 and ww2 and the british occupation of egypt and egypt being a new superpower or just a regional power
