- Hey guys, a quick video to talk about the Scalextric Cuda Trans Am build using the CG Slots 3D Chassis kit from Slot Car Corner!
This is just a basic run through of the build, my thoughts on the car and a little bit of Modified Trans Am racing on the new Two Lines 4 Lane layout!

I’ve done the same to several Scalextric Trans Am cars using the 3D chassis from SlotTrax. Mike Roe does a phenomenal job on the performance oriented detail of his prints. Makes the cars so much more fun!
Not tried a SlotTrax chassis.. will need to check them out..
Great video, welcome to the scratchbuild/improving side of the hobby!!!!! It's a lot of fun!!!!!!
You got that right! Next stop... brass chassis! Thanks Nico!
I knew you were up to the challenge and I like to throw things at you to get you to expand your skill set and look at things from different perspectives, great job on the build!!!
Thanks Darrell! I appreciate the help.. it is still not as fast as your cars 😂
@@twolinesslotcars You say that now so I will rest on my laurels until the races and the Two Lines crew busts me up.
@@darrellrogers8213 not happening man
Nicely done Marty! Car looks fantastic, and runs well!
Thanks 👍 Peter
Great tutorial Marty looks like an incredible job 👍👍👍👍😊
Thanks 👍
Thanks Marty, great video and the only way to really get a scalextric body to run well
It was a fun project Dave! Again, super disappointed the Staff's didn't work out.. but I think I have a project for them...
Nice build! The 4 way racing action at the end was cool.
Thanks! 👍 it is so much fun racing 4 lanes.. especially with very competitive class of cars.
Good work.. car looks much better.. have fun🤜
Thanks, will do!
G'day Marty great review on the cuda rebuild , yep I totally agree with you it can be bit frustrating
Lots of hours chasing a few tenths of a second 😂
Rost Coffee and Two Lines Slot Cars! One of the best ways to start my Saturday mornings before leaving for work. Thank you Marty! The TransAm has turn out quite well and you still have more than enough time for a little more fine tuning. Nicely Done!
Drinking a cup right now! Thanks!
Wow you have done alot of work and it shows the reward.
throw enough money at something.. you can make it go LOL
Isn't that why you got out of RC ? 🤣🤣🤣
@@SlotCarWildman yes.. yea it is.. but $100 vs $1000 is a big difference 😂😂
That's a neat and an otherwise effective 'hop' on that Cuda, Marty 😀 More is the pity that Scalextric does not design more like this as a get go. I am certainly impressed with your four lane set up performing at full tilt. There is seemingly a paradox inherent in the expression "Once you go analogue there's no going back" 🤣. One quick point would be to spend a few seconds panning the cars whilst stationary before showing them race because they really are just a blur at that point. In a recent video I imagined you were running the 'usual suspects' from Thunderslot but this only by the metallic blue, the papaya orange and the red. Still, it looks like you have a great local slot car scene going on over in Ohio. You guys are certainly pushing the place up with the 'most desirable place to live' stakes and for all this we otherwise owe you a most sincere debt of gratitude.
Good idea Darren a shot of the line up will happen the next time! Thanks for the kind wods my friend!
Welcome to the next step, it will now be only a matter of time before you rebuild your first Fly. It's addictive and almost as gratifying as scratch builds.
Thanks! I have a Fly 908 that is itching for a 3d chassis.....
Cool video. Doing the exact same thing with a Hornby Mustang, And a Ninco Mercedes...shapeways 3d chassis and motor pods. New gearing,.axles, motors, tires, maybe wheels.,.wiring, braids. But bought these years ago.used, sonthe cost.realy is for new parts... yah once it's done. The Cuda is very racey..should be interesting to race.note: c g chassis 3d are nicely printed indeed
Yes.. I am very pleased Dafingers!
Oh got it running good. So much smoother.
Marty you really got your "marks" down on your new track already. Christine wants to tear down the Oval and build a 2x as big road course!
Don't tell my Nascar buddies, but I do adore group C! GTP and Hypercar!
Formula 1 too!
Your secret is safe with me Steve LOL! I like Christine's idea!
Nice!!!
Thanks!
The cuda was cool in real life, but in a slot car? Then out friend John showed up at HOST and introduced us to a special Hemi that "Hauled the Mail". Bob at Slot Car Corner sent out about 6 more after we all got creased by that lowered Mopar
YOu have to apprecaite a car that Hauls the Mail!!
I'm going to do that to my Cuda . So Marty if I call Slot Car Corner and tell them to give me everything Marty purchase for his Cuda build, that will make easier? Was so disappointed with it straight out of the box. Thanks for all the information.

Thank link is to the kit.. on that page it outlines everything you need!
With this rule package, is there a minimum weight the car has to be?
No minimum weight..
