I think its awesome! One of the (very) few cars not covered in advertising and numbers.
Im happy with mine , I made mine yellow , and no 77 , in honour speedking 1 , I had , once , I very pleased with mine , I got put number on pace car red one , took lights off so , Im pleased with both of mine , I go back to Toyworld on 1st Aug see what there next , so I get what I can , am grateful , too up above too 😊
You are too kind. I recently bought 4 Scalextric F1 cars. One had one body screw miising and another body screw was stripped. The second car had had a broken connection at the pick up. Both of these were straight out of the box. I have not yet checked the other two. Not sure if I am game.

I have to say the magnets on modern Slot cars out of the box are way too strong. I use them as pace cars for the most part and try to beat them. Sorry to see the body mismatch on yours. Did you get that sorted at all? I had one issue on my WW version, and that was after the spoiler came off on its first run round my track it cracked, I have an idea I might have trodden on as I didn't notice till I went to put it on the shelf and found the spoiler on the floor.

I was thinking of getting one of these but I'm not so sure now
Its a bit of adissapointment, the Countach pace car has been released now and it looks like the paint job might be better on that one,
I just ordered one, wish I had seen your video first. I hope the one I receive doesn't have the issues yours has or it's going back.

You would think Scalextric cars would have improved with time since I used them in the 80's!
Looking at them on the internet the body seems to fit better than yours, Id be tempted to send it back and get a replacement!
Quality seems to be hit and miss these days, some cars absolute belters and some that just dont hit the spot.
