    Shadow Systems all day, every day! I'm drooling over the CR920P, but I'm not willing to spend the coin on it yet..

      I bought the cr920. I was hesitant but since you don't have to upgrade anything on it. It's ready to go out the box. It's worth it.

    I just ordered the SS CR920 Combat with optic cut. I have a 48MOS with almost 5000 rounds through it. What attracts me to the SS is the size of a 43 for better concealment, and same capacity.

    I own both of these firearms and I would say out of the box you get everything with the Shadow Systems that you might do to a Glock. I personally shoot both about the same. For someone not willing to spend the money on a cr920, definitely go with the Glock. You get the reputation and reliability with them. But Shadow Systems has definitely made their mark in the industry and has become my favorite. As far as the trigger, I would go with the cr920. It gets better every time I shoot it. You can’t go wrong with either one of them. Nice video and you have a new subscriber.

      Everyone has an opinion and if people came into watching these videos with the mindset that it’s one or 2 peoples “opinion” then maybe they wouldn’t get caught off guard by something they’ve “never heard.” I don’t want to watch people of a like mind with the same opinion as me. I want to know what the other half thinks and if you fundamentally hate and trash a pistol I love I legit do not care because that’s your opinion and you are more than entitled to have it. CR920, all day. Perform the recommended break in as stated by Shadow Systems and you have yourself a wonderful American (Texas) manufactured firearm. Plus, cheaper in the long run if you plan on doing any customes to a stock glock. Shadow Systems Company has great customer service and they are passionate about their products, and it shows. Glock is good and always will be, but the things to make them more shootable costs a lot extra...

    iirc (could be wrong) the cr920 does not need a plate for the optic. It goes directly into the slide. That’s how it’s bigger brothers work anyway.

  • @kentoncarter1103
    @kentoncarter1103 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    This has to be the dumbest gun review I’ve ever seen. These guns are almost exact duplicates but the Shadow Systems is a more detailed build. For example, Shadow Systems offers a direct-to-slide optic system that comes with a shim that locks the optic in place so that it WILL NOT WALK OR HAVE TO BE ZEROED TWICE( THE ONLY GUN ON THE MARKET WITH THAT FEATURE.) Trust me you will be mad if you have a bottom battery loading red dot and or the red dot keeps moving and you have to zero it every other time you shoot. The Shadow Systems can be co-witnessed without suppressor height sights and the slide has better cuts to allow for easier slide checks. Glock has a plate system. The Shadow System is much easier to conceal due to the shorter grip and it comes with 10+1 in its short configuration and is the same length with a much better grip pattern in the 13+1 setup. The Shadow Systems slide finish is more durable and the barrel is more accurate at distance. SS comes with metal sights and the SS has a 1911 grip angle. He did mention SS has double undercuts. I will say the Shadow Systems trigger has a wall and then a break where the g43 seems to just mush to the break while live shooting; you won't notice this action as much dry firing.
    READ and read well the only reason to purchase the G43x is if you want a longer grip and plan to leave the gun plane because the minute you so much as think about adding a red dot you have gone over the cost of owning the SS.

      Very welcome. Found a used CR920 today that's optic ready. $565. No other details but it was a consignment gun at a shop. Another local gun shop is selling MR920's with optic cut out, threaded black barrel in FDE. $680. The salesman said they just havent been selling and dropped price from $799 to $680. But still leaning toward the "P" further. Thank you again!

    I had a lot of issues with my CR920 through 600 rounds. Figured it wasn't worth having if I didn't trust carrying it so it's no longer with me. I shot it dead with my Glock, which I still trust. I should have known better than to steer away from Glock

    The extended mag is how I carry the extra rounds seems like enough advantage. The lighter slide certainly makes for snappier recoil. I am now a Shadow Systems fan boy I really can shoot these CR920. Is it worth the extra money? Yes I have shot hundreds of rounds through both and now own two Shadow Systems one with an optic one without.

    I can’t shoot a micro compact straight to save my life. Full size no issue. With that said lve shot both. I do not like the cr920. Looks better than the G43 feels better in the hand. Not that crazy about the g43 but l can somewhat function with that gun. Now I was running 147gr ammo with both. I may try both again with 124gr. But l run my wife’s sig p365 xl comp.
    If Glock could make something compact like that they’re have a winner.

    The pull is the same, 4-5 lbs I have the war poet cr920 the finger strength will differ from hand to hand. Some people squeeze and others squeeze hard. We are all different shooters and gun ownership is subjective.

      Old guy here lol. There are certain guns I can’t carry because no matter what I do I’ll lock the slide back. I refuse to change my grip for one gun out of 20 that I shoot great with my grip. Glock 43x comes with 2 magazines. Shadow system 2 magazines. Please do some homework before doing a review.... SMH I come to videos for opinions and when I see reviewers that don't know the product they review i get disappointed.

    • @GSquaredTactical
      @GSquaredTactical  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As you can clearly see my CR920 Elite (in video) has 3 mags. I don’t have another SS so I didn’t find one laying on the ground. Now why would I research to see if I accidentally got an extra mag that wasn’t supposed to be there when my carry case had 3 mags in it the day I bought it? Trey called the store we bought it and ask why he only got 1 mag and even called Glock. I never said they all only come with one mag I said and I quote…”Trey swears that his 43x only came with one mag idk.” Also, what the heck does my opinion of gun performance got to do with whether or not I “might” misspoke about number of mags in my box. If I research what others have to say is it “my opinion” or something I’m regurgitating from another’s opinion. You didn’t care anything about my opinion you are just one of those people who troll videos trying to find one thing said wrong so you can point it out to make you feel like a winner. Troll on my friend troll on
