Oh wow 😂 Malith learned how to speak in English in Australia from Australians who speak with the Australian accent, then obviously he will have that accent too. Ashan was born and brought up here in srilanka who in the middle of his life left to Australia by then he had already learned English and had developed a sri lankan accent, then there's no need to pick up an australian accent. Malith is not pretending to be sophisticated by speaking in an Australian accent he simply learned how to speak in English from Australians because he never learned English when he was living in srilanka. Hence the accent.
Jeeze seeing Ashan like this brings back memories! I had a massive crush on Captain Wasantha after watching Elephant Pass for the first time. Was still in school, only had heart eyes for this older dude. My friends and I literally read the book and watched the movie several dozen times, majorly cz of Cap. Wasantha 😂 His character gave a new standard for men for us - we were just teens 😂 Ashan was exceptional in that movie. Also as Pathiraja Senevi in Siri Parakum 😍 He has this aura about him. Collectedness. Gotta say he's still got it. The man ages like fine wine 😍

My English teacher ask me to watch english news in TV and read sunday observe even i didn't understand i use to watch and every saturday i bought newspaper too and i try to read and watch anyway im not soo good with an English but still able to understand and answer for communicate with people. thank you Thesera Nissanka who give me way and Ashan too
