There is one thing with the lyrics I've wondered since they (B-M) released this video.
In the video it's written "Dye for you", which sounds kind of... odd? What does she want to dye? Her hair? So I checked around, and it's actually "die for you".
Probably the translator who slipped a bit, and didn't check?

I went to two of their live concerts last year. I'm old (75 y/o) and have heard a LOT of rock bands in my life. Those two concerts were the most fun I've had in my life at rock concerts. These five wonderfully talented young women are so joyful in their performances and they interact with the audience so well that I encourage everyone to attend one(or more) of their concerts. You will be hooked on Band Maid for life.

The band have been together for ten years and this footage was from their over three hour celebration concert. They have the unusual capacity to make you smile or cry depending on the song. So pleased you love them. So much more to see. Saiki the singer has always been great but now she really is a leading lady. Enjoy the journey.

I have been to concerts, where it seemed like the band members didn't even want to be there. They called in their performance, and while I enjoyed the music, I didn't enjoy the concert as a whole.
When I went to see Band-Maid last May in Houston, the JOY the Ladies all had on their faces as they performed, I just wished the concert went twice as long. Even though I lost my voice from singing along, and my arms and shoulders were tired and sore. I have NEVER enjoyed a concert as much as I did then.
It's true that they express their joy of playing on stage at all their concerts. And Miku will make this concert even more fun for you with her Omajinai Time. If they tour the US again but after Europe. Thanks Flowers.
Only another 120 songs to get through their back catalogue! Well, then there's also the live versions. And many great documentaries, fancams and other bits and pieces. Oh, and a new album out this year. And the release on March 26th of the DVD of the concert that this version of Don't You Tell Me is from - the 33 song, 3.5 hour concert! There's also a whole 1 hour, 12 song set available on YT, from the Lollopalooza festival last year.
And then on to their ‘April Fool’s’ band, ‘Band-Mako’ the Geisha in training band … their acoustic specials … the time they told tried to trick us by having Miku start her own j-pop Band on her own without any help from the rest of them (which in true Band-Maid style turned out be a big hit with fans.)
She’s just heard two of their more playful ‘fun’ songs, and hasn’t heard any of their more serious masterpieces like ‘Daydreaming’ and ‘Wonderland’. Boy is she in for a ride.
You don't need an excuse to listen to Band-Maid. They are just great on so many levels! 😉

I’ve had the great pleasure of seeing Band Maid live three times now and will be seeing them perform an acoustic set in Tokyo in a couple of weeks. I can’t convey how much I love this band. They have a magic way of infecting people with pure joy and happiness.
Saw them live last year on their US tour. Love them so much. Misa is one of the greatest bass players to walk the planet.
It doesn't matter whether they're playing a tiny club or a major arena, Band-Maid knows how to have fun and will put a smile on your face. I saw them in Detroit in a small club: the stage was tiny, they couldn't fit a drum riser on the stage, and Maids were bumping elbows on stage, but we were have a great time. The songs were all high energy and during breaks the band members talked to the audience. Everyone left with smile beaming from their face.
Two days later I saw them at an outdoor festival in Ohio. It was only 7 songs, but they were a good sampling of "Band-Maid doing Band-Maid Things". Akane knock the lettering off her drums!
I just looove Kanami's (lead guitar) new battle gear. She looks... regal. Before, she was like a fairy elf, now she's a more mature Rock Star in total control of the stage 😍

MIsa is considered a Lead Bassist so regardless that she is a naturally quiet and shy person, when she is on stage with her bass she 'demands' to be seen and heard! To be fair, they are all great musicians and very fun to watch perform! Awesome band!!

All of the times I’ve seen them live I’ve literally smiled for the entire day.
They lived streamed this concert which was 3 1/2 hours long had to stay up all night to watch it but it was worth it😁

Great reaction and there are a lot of extremely talented female bands in Japan. For me Band-Maid is at the top of heap, but the others are all great as well. As for song requests, the fans usually just recommend something from their channel as anything will be great. Also, I noticed that you liked The Warning, they met backstage at the 2022 "After Shock" festival in California, turns out their big fans of each other and we're all hoping they get to play at the same show sometime. You should check their first video, Thrill.
That video SAVED their careers. They were going to be released from their management company because their first album was not selling. At first Band Maid was a generic J-Pop group, their album was not selling, and the management company met with them and said if they don't get more attention, they were going to release then from the contract. The ladies made a deal and said let's make a music video and put it on TH-cam and see if anything happens. The ladies selected a B-side that they had wrote themselves because if they were going to go out they wanted to do it with their song not the ones that had been written for them. The video is low budget, just them in a white room with a couple costume changes, Miku hadn't yet learned how to play the guitar yet so she's just holding one as she lipsyncs. At first it didn't get much attention but some TH-cam reactors found it and shared it, then more people discovered it and now it has over 20 MILLION views and they finished their ten-year anniversary tour last year and will be going into the studio to record their next album soon.
Just think, if it weren't for TH-cam reactors Band Maid might not be around.🤷♂

Yeah. Band Maid is nothing like that. They have between 50-60 songs that even a casual listener would put on their playlist.
This isn’t crazy fan talk, either. Band Maid never plays the same setlist twice. They rotate their hits in and out of their typical 20 song shows. The concert you watched had a 33 song setlist. And they scheduled a follow up show to play hits they didn’t have time for

Since you like ONE OK ROCK you should check out the band Coldrain and their newest song Vengeance. The lead singer, Masato, is actually good friends with Taka. He's also an incredible vocalist with a unique voice. His clean voice is almost as good as Taka's but his harsh vocals are better than Taka's. Masato has helped write several OOR songs. Because he's fluent in English he's helped Taka write a lot of the English lyrics, such as Renegades.
And if you do want a suggestion, I'm thinking Puzzle Official Live from their channel...

Sounds like you need to listen and watch Band Maid videos to exercise and train those facial muscles so they don't hurt when you smile. Hopefully you get to the point that you can smile all the time without it hurting.
MISA, bass and Akane, drums both are alumni of the Tokyo School of Music. It is a vocational school for musicians wanting to work in the Japanese music industry. Both write their parts for the songs from the basic song sent to the by Kanami, lead guitar. This is done over the internet, they don't live near one another. MISA also plays the guitar and piano, recently in an interview that she had created her bass lines on the piano. Akane also plays the trombone and the piano.
