@@OldMrBPardon my amplifying on this point, but...they are literally better, year, to year, to year...as artists, as entertainers, as composers and arrangers, as people....*You and I have heard a LOT of bands, over many years...how many bands can you truly say (the above-noted comment) about, and keep a straight face? Most bands plateau after a few years...I don't even see Band's Maid's "plateauing moment" on the distant horizon. Band Maid Forever!!!!!

Band-Maid's Hate? live at Lollapalooza Chicago was great, but even more than Lollapalooza, the camera work and sound at Yokohama Arena were the best. And since the venue was huge, it was a great show where you could fully enjoy Kanami and MISA's bold and dynamic performances.

I saw the live stream concert dozens of times. I would have thought by now that there wasn't much moire to say about the Yokohama concert. But the performance and the songs do just keep getting better and better. I had forgotten how Mincho and MISA ran back to join the final drum beat at the drums. How happy and smiling they both were. Where was the HATE? Well the HATE? was in Saiki's frankly brilliant performance. She really just shone like a beam of bright sunlight in this concert. I was convinced she really hated the poor chap she was singing to. With Miku getting more and more proficient on the guitar the sound as other mentioned has become fuller. Both Kanami and MISA can enjoy more freedom. This song should be the theme song to the World leaders. At last a World theme we can get behind.

Hi Old Mr B. Hate? is a banger of a song. I've seen it twice last year, the version from YA is the best live version so far. Band-Maid are for sure one of the best live bands ever to exist. Greetings from Norway 🙂

Yes, they are great.
Ofcourse I've only seen the live tracks that they have released from the Yokohama concert but it's obvious that they put a lot of planning into it. Usually they are just wandering around doing whatever they want at any given time but this time everything seems to have been carefully considered and it was a very long concert so it must have needed a lot of rehearsal but it's a great credit to them and a huge success and in my opinion it will take its place in rock history.

don't get me wrong, all five of these ladies are top tier musicians and i adore all of them, but when the time comes for a big splash, you pull the 2 monsters out of the corners and tell them, we will have Akane keep it in the pocket but you 2 turn it loose, it truly brings a tear to my eye

Pretty quick today Mr.B. 🙂 This was their best show yet! All the others are great, but Yoko was greaterer! I'm glad there's no call and response in this song. I would be unable to yell "I Hate You! I Hate You! I Hate You!" at them no matter what! 🙂

Awesome indeed Mr B. They absolutely own the stage and they make it look so easy.
Contrast this to their MV for "Thrill" where they were all still a bit unsure how to act in front of the camera. They've come so far and have earned every bit of it.
