    HDR renders all stuff in floating point so you don't get banding. It's not a filter. If you look at the A-pillar in a P217 with it on / off even on SDR display you will see all the shading is smooth vs posterized

    • @Billy_Davison
      @Billy_Davison 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah. There was an update in August of 22. I didn't think it would matter with a DD wheel. Just figured it is better than the iracing FFB.@@Daz555Daz

  • @chrisnobleracing
    @chrisnobleracing 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Is there a reason why you set your wheel force in the VRS software to 75% (15nm) but then in iRacing you set the wheel force to 20nm? Wouldn’t you want it set to 15nm inside iRacing?

    • @Sampsoid
      @Sampsoid  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good question and good point. To be honest, what you set the iRacing number as doesn’t really doesn’t matter. What matters is the difference between the Max Force and the Wheel Force within iRacing. I have many DDs and nowadays I like to limit them to around 15nm as some games like Wreckfest and rFactor 2 can produce crazy amounts of Force Feedback at times. Learnt that the hard way. The way I usually do it is Max Force to the Wheelbase nm(regardless of base %) and only change Wheel force in iRacing depending on the car/setup etc and I change the Wheelbase % to limit peak Torque. Hope that helps
