FINALLY. Been praying for this next episode. Our god is great.
I didn't see you guys post Iowa lost contents. Did you do it on this channel?
Relax fellas…..Michigan last year, Indiana this year. Other offenses we played were 🗑️. Mostly couldn’t get off the field on third down.
Gotta throw that UCLA game in along with Illinois and Indiana.
I think he hired Snow to merge two defenses into one. He's adding the 3-3-5 to his defense and Butler is going to teach and call it
Same feeling. I think it could work. Especially if we become good at a lot fee different looks. Could keep offenses off guard.
Sucks he left but excited to see next year with Butler.
I think a lot people are not understanding what a good hire Butler actually is. Our coaching staff has been upgraded in quite a bit in my opinion.
Where have you two been. Weeks with no content. Your stressing us out.
IMO John Bullock, James Williams, Jimari Butler and Mikai Gbayor all got better in 2024 under Tony White. I'm good with Phil Snow/John Butler taking over the Blackshirts, but my preference was to keep Tony as DC. Still believe Rhule is a good fit for the Huskers, but 2025 needs to show significant progress not just baby steps. Love the show and insights.
Wasn't everyone saying the same thing about Tony White and T Knight when they got here?
This was my thought too! Time will tell. Must trust Rhule
I feel like snow is there to mentor Buttler or “coach a coach” and teach him more about the 3-3-5. But Buttler will be the overall decision maker and teacher.
I could see snow moving from room to room with different positions during film study ect. And maybe Buttler can focus more on secondary guys 🤷🏼♂️
There’s a ton of kids and coaches in college and if snow is there just as an advisor who thinks like Rhule helping keep the team on the same page but doesn’t step on toes. I could see this working.
I've never heard anyone say Rhule micro manages. Rhule wants a stout defense not one that gives up 56 point one day and over 450 yards the next.
I hope he lets Buttler teach what he’s good at and maybe sprinkle in a little 3-3-5 for a switch up. But making Buttler fully commit to a defense he’s still learning feels like a recipe for disaster.
I don't blame Tony leaving because he did his job the last 2 years with no help. Florida St took our all star coaches. White, T Knighton, and Evan Cooper.
The way I look at it is that Florida state has hit absolute rock bottom..the only way they can go is up , which in turn makes tony white look better and look like a savior and a genius when they improve, which...they have to improve, they won like 1 game with amazing athletes.
