I always enjoy your videos! Great to see the season end on a positive note. The college football world is changing. The Huskers have 8 months to get better with returning players, portal and new recruits.
The Huskers legitimately earned a bowl game AND won the bowl game despite it being way closer than it should have been. Nebraska is working on relevancy once again. And this is 1 small step towards being a relevant program once again. 😊
16:20 Continued Identity theory suggests that if you do not change out all parts of the whole at one time they maintain a continued identity. The skin cells you have now are different than the ones you were born with but unlike a snake you do not shed your skin all at once so the skin you have has maintained a consistent state even though the cells cycle out. The same has always been true of sports teams: as long as they maintain some continuity from year to year they are the same team even in the Transfer Portal era.
Regarding football, I think it's perfectly fine to be happy you win a bowl game, and simultaneously be disgusted with the overall performance. I went back and tallied about 75% of the plays that we should have made/ avoided stupid errors, that is a 17 to 24 point easy win
Raiola gets up after the supposed late hit acting like Mr Tough Guy. Then he has a chance to prove how tough he really is on the same drive and he slides a yard short. 😂
O did everything in there power to try to give this one away. Once again Special teams and lack of killer instinct caused a close game that should have never been close. Next year O has to learn to keep the pedal down and tear some people up.
It's all well and good we get up on teams, but half of the job of the OC is putting a game away. If you cannot line up and get 4-5 yards on a straight ahead run in the 4th when you need it, then you are going to go .500.
I can't last until next fall with no nick bahe podcast. You guys need to do some basketball!
Gary Sharp rightly says Dowdell turns a 60 yd run into a 20 yd run.

I still remember Nate Swift
a win is a win at this point
Vincent Shavers was impressive
How about when Canton Ohio fumbled on the last drive and got it back. We always seem to fumble on those final drives when we’re trying to ice the game
Coach Rhule after the game said he is going to completely overhaul the special teams next year.
I’ll believe it when Foley is gone.
Refrigerator Perry! Enough said!😂😂
It was NOT intentional grounding because it was not to avoid a sack. That is written into the rulebook.
and it would have been a 1 yard loss
3rd down defense needs to improve next year if we want to win 6+ games
On the grounding call. If Carter Nelson runs the right route it was probably a touchdown

This seems to be the first staff to pull more potential out of kids since Bo
Bo succeeded with talent left by Callahan. He was a horrible big game coach. I don’t miss getting blow own 4 times a year
@@brockrobison8597 I think you would love to have the wins that Bo had, rather than these horrendous eight years
I love this podcast. The intro music sounds like late 90s early 2000s porn

“Get your points”
How can you guys say EJ isn't the starting RB after he got his opportunities 😂😂
YES bring back grass field, I want to see dirty jerseys. While we’re at it paint the end zones red
The fake field goal was very similar to Scott Frosts onside vs Northwestern. You are trying so hard to be smart, but you end up being dumb.
Fire Ed Foley into the sun. Let that contract run out and...can you tarmac a guy after the season?
I've never seen a worse fake field goal in my life...Foley has to go!!!
