My name is Dave and I travel with my dog Bella in a 1987 Class A Motorhome. My channel is about full time RV Living in an older RV while keeping the wheels rolling on a budget. I do the repairs, updates and upgrades myself. I’ve become my own RV Mechanic/Medic! I seek boondocking opportunities every chance I can and power the RV with 500 watts of solar and approximately 500 amp hours of batteries. RV Resorts are just not our style!

Magnolia trees. I think they're pretty and the flowers smell good too. I don't know why someone would say they're dirty.
Those ones looked very unhealthy
Magnolia trees are the official state tree of Mississippi!
Dave maby you can overcome your fear of hights by skydiving? It’s can become your most popular video yet? Just kidding I had dizzy feeling myself looking down space nidle in Seattle WA. Probably will need pampers if I get any higher lol.
A good driving day. Hopefully the weather will be looking up soon. 🙂👍
Oh my I enjoyed going thru the tunnel. Stay safe and thank you.
magnolia. my mom had one planted in our front yard. her favorite tree. smells really good and big white flowers. beautiful!
Magnolia trees= Mississippi state flower
thanks for taking us along.
That tunnel was as much fun as the psychedelic car wash you took us through. ☺☺
🙋♀️ give Bella hug for me. Be careful out there🙏
Hello from Citrus County FL. It might get to 32 on Saturday night here.
Yeah it’s kinda spooky about going in tunnel under water🫣
Thanks for taking us along with you and balle see yah guys hugs always
Ooh.... Mobile Tunnel. You're brave.
Oh my gosh “E ⛽️”. I never would’ve thought you’d let the tank go below 1/4. I would’ve been freaking out. Years ago Dad advised always fill up around 1/2 tank level as I don’t want to panic on long stretches. 🚌
WOW Dave that was close with the gas for sure. We almost always start looking for a station at half a tank by then we are ready for a bit of a break anyway. Welcome to FL.
Pensacola was 20° last night, keep going.🥶
I do like your driving video's
🤣 the dogs are just staring at me I don’t know
This is one of my favorite drives!
Dave, my late father always told me not to let my tank get less than quarter, because all of the rubbish in your tank gets stirred up when too low and can cause issues as it makes its way through your motor.
7:23 The original tunnel is a two-way street and smaller. 😮
The road that goes under I-10 goes to the old Mobile tunnel.
That is the old hwy 90 Bankhead Tunnel. NOT for RV. Many scars on the roof of the tunnel. That low road is Highway 90. I can remember when it was two lanes. Showing my age, ain't I?
Hey, Dave! You were in our stomping ground going through Mobile and Pensacola. We live an hour N of both. Great seafood from Pascagoula on. Quite often you can find a boat and buy it fresh. Best sugary white sand beaches too. Going across Mobile bay is a nice little state bbn park/campground with fishing pier and a boardwalk over some marsh. Gaters can be seen there. We've just been home from 4 months in SW. COLD and FRIGID is how its been, low as 18 one nite. Few years back it was like this and we trucked it to Florida. South as far as Sebring area with the cold following. Safe travels.
Im surprised that you let your gas tank get that low. Happy travels
Awesome video
Hey Dave, been tracking all the way from Texas, keep going, Bella ok.😊
It`s frozen most everywhere.
Ugh! I know that rest area well. I spent a lot of time there in April 2022. I had stopped in my RV and dropped my keys just as I was closing the drivers door. Lulu and I were locked out until a mobile tow company could come and let me back in the RV. I need to figure out where to hide a spare set in one of the cargo bays or remember to put them on a lanyard to hang around my neck. Thank goodness I had my phone and could call for help. And thank you for the video that triggered me to actually make a plan if it happens again.
I learned when a tunnel goes down, if there is a propane leak it has no way to escape so keep your propane off when anticipating a tunnel. If there was a reason to have to sit in the tunnel (a broken down car or accident), everyone would slowly go to sleep and never wake up.
Take the alternative route since learning that. I'd hate to have my motorhome be the cause of a catastrophe.
PS gorgeous here in the Q.
And pulling a Kramer...whoa! You DO carry a can underneath... don't you?!?
Never fails... you're riding E and the light takes its sweet a@# time to turn green then some jacknut is just sitting at the pump🤦 👍👍 great video
Waffle waffle waffle! To funny! At least the gas prices are good! Safe travel!!!
The sunshine state hasn't been very sunny this season. Hopefully that is about to change. When we came down I10 in November it was a nightmare. They were trimming trees and blocking one lane so traffic backed up for almost an hour 2-3 times. It sucked. Hopefully you have smooth sailing. We have pushed it on travel days before too. It gets scary when the rv gets low on gas. Glad you made it to the station.
Stay safe and warm. Don't like heights either. Don't like tunnel's under water. Have fun 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️🐈⬛✌️☕
That E scares me more than tunnels any day been there done that 😮
I believe that last large body of water was the Gulf of Mexico. By now you’ve probably seen local news whereas Ocala is going to have temps clear down in the low 30’s but possibly into the mid 20’s with windchill factor. That’s for tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday. We’ve really had a mild winter so far so this is doable however y’all might want to head even further south below Orlando.🦩
Great travel video , thanks . Is it hard on Bella on these long rides ? Stay safe , have fun . Give Bella a rub for me .
There's a causeway that goes through mobile Bay.
Here.
Sorry you all had to leave the gulf coast area so quickly because of the weather. You missed some really great meals and attractions, maybe you can have more time on your next trip 😀
Maybe you could start a business of fixing spaceships....(: I'm with you about tunnels under water, doesn't seem safe. Bella is such a sweet girl. 😁😁😎😎👍👍
your getting in to florida and we are getting 4 inches of snow back here at home stay safe and warm Dave
its good that you got an inspection sticker with that cracked windshield. that would fail big time in lovely Massachusetts. happy trails
Magnolia trees.
I paid $1.84 NZ for my diesel yesterday. Have seen it for less than $1.80 recently.
Have you ever toured the battleship in Mobile? I saw the sign for the Battlehship Park. The Chesapeak Bay Tunnel is more anxiety provoking for me. It's longer, plus you have to travel over a lot of water. The older I got, the less I liked bridges if I can't see land on the other side. Thanks for the ride along today.
(PS: It looks like Ausia has a rear marker light out.)
Sorry our temps weren't very welcoming. We return to the 60s and 70s next week. (Mobile/Pensacola area) This 20 degree stuff is NOT what we order for winter weather!
Magnolia tree
Wow! Going under water thru a tunnel would be freaky.
As always, Thumbs up👍
why do you never show the Alabama battle ship.
❤So Beautiful ❤
Love to see you all driving together ... good video ... !!! 😊
Dave, don’t cops who patrol tunnels carry a roll of duck tape for leaks and drips? That may make Russ more comfortable.
Magnolia county they like Wiffle Houses and Dollar Generals that’s us… lol
❤❤❤
Hi Dave! Happy New Year. Are you coming to Jacksonville? If so, I’d love to meet up for coffee or a meal.
🎉Goldie in Jacksonville

The first half of that video made me home sick !!! I haven't been to Pensacola in almost a year . The second half gave me flashbacks . The Clearview Walmart is where we watched hurricane Katrina tear up the gulf coast . . Good video Dave .
I live 52 min from Gainesville in branford florida hmu
Magnolia trees, they get big white flowers
Headed to your sisters?
How about a report once n awhile on how the motor home is treating you and your wallet(fuel wise)

I hate southern rest area dog parks lots of prickers In paws.
I remember stopping somewhere in TEXAS and letting my dog do his thing. Didn't realize until we were ready to get back in the car how much sand stickers he had on. Took me a while to get them off.
When are you going to stop and eat a Waffle House? So good. Wish we had one near me.
If your window is down, it makes it kind of difficult to understand you.
