Super to see you enjoying afternoon tea at the Savoy - - - - Brilliant how you show the approach to the venue - - - - the interior of the venue - - - the menu - - - the afternoon tea food items - - - - and your respect for people in the background while you are eating by blurring them out is to be admired
So special to see how you know how to take afternoon tea in the correct manner - - - so many people don't know how - - - cutting your finger sandwiches into two or three pieces - - - - breaking the scone with your fingers - - - putting the cream and preserve on the side of your plate first - - - using a fork to eat your pastries - - - you are so much better than the others taking afternoon tea on TH-cam - - - - they and other viewers should take note

fennel or anise is the tarragon taste . It always looks so lovely and I know my son and I will probably never get there but I told my son we will have it here at home.

Dallas, love your teas! Do you have a choice of the cream tea at Savoy, Harrod's and other places? It seems to me that cream tea maybe a lighter choice. Also, as you know Brits do not complain, but you shoud if the bread is stale, ask for a fresh bread or ask before you sut down when the tea was prepared. For what you pay I certainly would be the US forward.
Welcome Back down the rabbit hole! To be honest I have not seen the opportunity for just cream tea very often- perhaps at smaller tea shops- Generally I believe a lot of the well know busier teas the sandwiches are prepared ahead of time - then wrapped and unwrapped as needed. Nothing has been too horrible at any of these teas- knock on wood 🤣 I’m so pleased you are enjoying your trips to Wanderland- I’ll see you on Friday for another adventure ✨💕🫖
Ritz, Claridges and Savoy - said to be some of the best afternoon teas in town - hard to pick a top spot.

This looks really nice, the different takes on the tea sandwiches was interesting. I've never had clotted cream and we don't have (to my knowledge) heavy cream that is not ultapasteurized where I live in eastern PA. But I've always thought that it would be very soft and spreadable, like spreadable butter. Hmmm??
Ah yes, clotted cream - nothing like it in America- it’s thick and rich and you scoop lashings of it on your scone- gorgeous. I used to find clotted cream in jars at a British grocery stores in California a thousand years ago- still nothing like the fresh we get here😁
I hope you will soon stop showing the spiral. It can trigger epilepsy. Check with your doctor.
Thank you very much for this heads up Nancy, I did some research about the swirling black and white images and yes definitely going forward I will not be including this feature in my vlogs- I would never want to harm anyone. Now to simulate going doing the rabbit hole in another fashion- hummmmm any ideas 😁😁😁😁😁
