I would recommend bleeding the oil pump from any air if you’ve disconnected the main oil hose. Crack open the 7mm screw on top of the oil pump while the bike is at idle to remove any air.

Mine turns over just fine, incredibly enough it still has brakes (the syrup like fluid will obviously be replaced) I’m wondering mostly about changing jets as it was a California bike and now resides in Utah at 4600 feet.
