It's def better! I wonder though what the trouble is with the dialogue audio, that was the main issue I noticed with last season too. Last season, you couldn't hear what anyone was saying. This season, you can hear them but they're super crunchy and distorted. Can only with with watcha got though of course, I appreciate all the hard work.
You can tell they are all legit pros at what they do. Coming up with lyrics, sounds, styles, tones - damn even tuning, and then putting them all together within 24 hours and still outperforming some famous bands I went to see. They all already won this for me. Props to Austin, dude can definitely scream.
AERIS definitely came out on top of songs that I would listen to on repeat. Huge sound, just needs to be tighter but you can't expect perfection from 24 hours of prep! Great effort from all IMO.
My mom passed away this morning and shit has me broken. I love and am gunna miss my mother, so to take my mind off things I turned to TH-cam and seen that musician mansion season 2 was on, it has seriously helped my day. Jared, glad, you succeed in putting out yet another season of the show! It got so much better production wise. Judging from this one episode it evolved in every aspect! I love the clean live sound of the bands. Keep it up, hope there's a lot more seasons to come in the future...

Season 2 came out the gates giving us what we wanted to begin with. Jared seems to have really listened. We wanted more music, and we’re getting more music. All 3 bands crushed this challenge. Stoked to see the rest.

This is everything I want in a reality tv show. You got metal and hardcore style stuff, a bunch of my favorite creators, and they're all harmlessly nice people. The latter is specifically something a lot of tv is missing.

Amazing start to the show. I actually prefer watching this for the moments where its NOT like american reality TV and more focused on the conversations and goofing around the members do. Also none of us are under the illusion that Rikki isnt here for Angel's eye candy 😏.
That Aeris song was actually so good, The mix of metal and clean vocals fit perfectly with the chunky guitar riffs. Loved the level of heaviness it balanced with the poppy vocals. Soulfire also had some really cool melodic moments throughout, probably the most consistent song overall. Obviously Greystone was super heavy and weird and it was amazing as you'd expect, but that was kind of the problem for me, it was expected. It was nice to see the other two bands make something fresh having no prior experience together.
Season 2, let's goooooooooooooo! So happy this is back! Also seems like this season is really going to focus more on the music with the goofy things being fun side quests, which sounds great! Can't wait to see how all the bands progress.
Hands down soulfire have written the best song objectively it's amazing that they were able to write and perform it so well in just 24 hours! They're all super talented and have great chemistry together. I'm glad greystone changed it up a little bit and added some funky stuff, but they still fumbled the live performance quite a bit and since they already performed together in season 1 it feels like they have a bit of an unfair advantage. If they had performed their song better though it would've been so awesome. Aeris deserve more recognition. I am personally not a huge metalcore fan but i think they did really well despite the challenges they faced of not using similar tunings, not playing very similar styles and losing a string on one of the guitars. Overall very solid sounds this season, can't wait to see the rest.
I feel sad for Alexa. As a drummer I know how difficult it could be to switch to the whole new genre and playing it in front of the people could make you really nervous. Confidence is really important for a drummer. But I believe she can do it.

Soulfire were the most tight band by far and well deserved winners in saying that, the song Graystone opened with was PHENOMENAL, if they had have utilised that sound instead of playing around too much it's hard to foresee them dethroned, but the talent pool this season is 👌
