- Visit www.leftcoastclassics.com/196... to see this 1964 Ford Thunderbird Convertible for sale from Left Coast Classics in Sonoma California.
Born in Diamond Blue, this very pretty car was treated to a beautiful repaint in Wimbledon White. The body and paint were wonderfully restored; smooth and shiny with outstanding panel alignment. Much of the chrome appears to have been re-plated at that time though there appears to be some original pieces too. In general the automobile is very appealing and entirely rust-free.
Originally a California car, this gorgeous Thunderbird was brought back by T-Bird restoration professional Ken Harkema of Ken's Classics Vintage Thunderbird Sales & Service of Spring Valley, California in the early 2000's for a local customer. According to Ken he did extensive work with this automobile - rebuilding the motor, top relay conversion, paint, chrome and interior.
This Wixom, Michigan constructed Thunderbird runs perfectly with it's rebuilt, 390ci 4V V-8 and the C6 Cruise-O-Matic transmission shifts properly and exactly. It's factory 9" highway-friendly 3:00:1 rear-end works completely. This is a really quite, trustworthy classic that is ready to enjoy!

Looks awesome
Back in the day when I was a teenager you would see this car brand new you would go home and dream about it
-Loved seeing these as a kid when they were new.
I got myself a '64 but in a good condition like this one
Great video!!!
I had one and loved it but many many little and major problems.
How much is she worth?
That’s When American cars were the only car in the world Back in the day when I was a teenager you seen this car new you would go home and dream about it
Exhaust leak!
Hey Alex thats what i thought too.
Very common on the FE engine
Wide white wall tires not period correct. 😕
Narrow was correct. Yes
A 1" whitewall would be correct for this year. Modern reproductions of the correct tire are available from Coker.
Super nice but those white walls are totally wrong.
YEP!!
Thought so too.
They're a bit much.
Who cares? Car looks dope. Wide whites look better on these. Post a picture of your rig. Bet it's trash.
@@travismoore3146 LOL, what a dumb-ass.
@@ScottDLRI'm a dumbass? You're the one using a hyphen to connect the same word together. What does that make you? Illiterate?
If you leave running and get out does It backup when you get out they sent you a sticker t put on dash .have one 66.mechanx nightmare . always broken down only 48kmi. They all had low mileage cause they never ran .three trans rebuild 1engine bought new.conv red.
It's the detent plate.it gets worn and can pop out of gear.
Stickers didn't come on the dash until the 80s stop it
Nice car in most regards but you need to address that tick in the engine! Also those totally incorrect wide wides
really detract from the looks of the car!
Sounds like weak valve springs
Typical old ford
