For those who don't know, Dual Pistol Pinecone was originally another plant called Rotten Red. He was removed and replaced because of copyright issues. Rotten Red was designed by a Make-A-Wish kid named Miles for a video and a video ONLY. However, Talkweb (devs) actually put the plant in the game regardless, without asking for permission from him or his parents in any way.
I Think Yo Should Make A Series Overanalizing International version plants and zombies so that it helps new players or just entertain others. i have seen people not using it corectly, somepeople actually need it series
Just when I thought Cold Snapdragon was better than the original, leave it to Thunder Snapdragon to blow that out of the water. Once again I really approve of the music choice, I also appreciate how they're organized by the plants they were used for in the credits, as well as adding the composers. Phenomenal work as usual!
Normal and cold are technically better for multi-lane coverage… but since all three are pretty cheap and have a fast recharge, spamming thunder snapdragons in multiple lanes does invalidate the other two.
Narcissus shooter also caught me off guard with that extra-powerful stream of bubbles. at first, I thought it was just a worse Fume-shroom! if you were to get Narcissus, Thunder Snapdragon, and Ent all on the same account....well, you wouldn't need anything other than sun producers, they could probably solo literally every level!
The power difference between some of these plants is ridiculous. You have crystal orchid, which does very little damage, can snowman-ify the same zombie twice, can't snowman-ify a scarily large pool of zombies, and it's possible for it's plant food to do nothing when there's a zombie close enough to eat it. And then zapdragon solos entire waves at like level 2 and costs half the price of crystal orchid
Maybe they could give crystal orchid damage on her wind comparable to fume-Shroom? Wouldn’t be a huge buff since it would be niche, but at least she won’t be useless on zombies she can’t freeze

I’ll assume a few things about Alarm Explosive Arrowhead - it sleeps for a bit to stop you from just throwing it in the middle of a hoard - it’s “laser” is a tripwire, giving it the “alarm” in it’s name

12:14 It should be noted that this is isn't the Chinese version being weird, ice plants in the international version are also pretty inconsistent. Winter Melon, Iceberg Lettuce, and Snow Pea can all be frozen, while Cold Snapdragon, Missile Toe, and Iceweed cannot. It's weird.
@@silverpotato4272 You are right. Cold Snap Dragon being freeze-resistant makes sense because it has a thick fur but I have no idea why Missile Toe and Iceweed are immune though. Winter Melon and Snow Pea not being freeze-resistant makes sense to me but I have no idea why Iceberg lettuce isn't resistant because it literally _is_ a chunk of ice.

Then, eventually, when they started releasing some overpriced plants, they added chill-resistance to make them seem good. Unlike Chinese Version devs, international version devs care more about these things.
from a first glance, i expected Narcissus Shooter to be another unnecessary plant with an awkward design. seeing its unique ability and little details in Big Wave Beach (which wasn’t even necessary considering that BWB is the only water world in PvZ 2) really made me like it a lot more than i anticipated. really happy that PvZ 2 China continues to surprise me with some unexpected gems every now and then :) also that level 5 ability is unbelievably busted.
Zapdragon was the first Chinese plant I found out about years back, gotta say I've been obsessed with it despite never actually using it once.. So many of these Chinese plants are way cooler than the ones in the international version.
Alarm Explosive Arrowhead is such a cool plant in my opinion, it's like one of those cool laser defences that always appear in spy movies, just that the fact that the top one gets eliminated when a zombies crosses it kinda makes no sense
a neat idea would be if when a zombie crosses the red line, both Arrowhead's go to where the zombie stepped and explode in a 3x3 radius, make the ability mean somthing

Yeah she is one of the more unique plants that was not a copypaste of a previous plant. The only thing I wanted is a better snowman design and animation (this does not fit the style of pvz imo)

Crystal Orchid is a pretty cool concept for a plant. Looks way too weak, though. Why does it target the furthest zombie, that just makes it less likely for the snowman to do anything? At least the vulnerability would help if it targeted zombies that might get hit by the rest of your defenses.
Zombies that are turned into snowmen by Crystal Orchid take the same amount of damage they took when they are frozen, meaning they take multiple damage when they are frozen.

I like the concept of thunder snapdragon, the concept of a melee plant with aoe was always cool because it seemed like it would involve a lot of skill to use Thunder snapdragon does not involve any skill to use
Could be, in fact you can spot a Digger being turned into a Buckethead Snowman. All implies that Conehead Snowmen are used for generic armor, while Buckethead Snowmen are reserved for armor that can be removed by Magnet-Shroom. The real question is what Punk Zombies turn into.

Definitely not, way too many glitches and balancing issues. I'd rather have the game have fewer plants that are more balanced and consistent rather than have a messy hodge-podge of plants they made in a day to entice mouthbreathing players

My ranking for those plants(my opinion): Dual pistol pinccone: looks fun to use and its good Narcissus shooter: good support plant and have pretty good damage Alarm explosive arrowhead: same as squash, good early game plant with amazing damage Crystal orchid: too gimicky to be useful Thunder snapdragon: DBS GO BRRRRR
Narcissus sounds good at first but it's actually terrible because of its slow recharge and 300 sun cost. Magnet Shroom and Acid Lemon would do a much better job.

Arrowhead isn't a bad idea tbh A higher cost but with 2? Field wide squash I can see it being useful in niche situations, and even ignoring that? Emp effect But the recharge? Nah Half the recharge I'd say but it could be toyed with

Maybe the reason the Crystal Orchid turned that Blockhead into a Conehead snowman is because that zombie possesses armor than Magnet Shroom can't pull
Could be, in fact you can spot a Digger being turned into a Buckethead Snowman. All implies that Conehead Snowmen are used for generic armor, while Buckethead Snowmen are reserved for armor that can be removed by Magnet-Shroom. The real question is what Punk Zombies turn into.

alarm explosive arrowhead's laser mechanic might be designed so you could cover every lane with only 2 of them. still not great for a single use plant, but its something

Yes, Snapdragon create flame spirit which deal a lot of damage while Cold Snapdragon create ice spirit to freeze zombies in lane
And a fact: Dual Pinecone Shooter is the replacement of Rotten Red, they have the same Almanac story the things different is sun cost and ability

Definitely not, way too many glitches and balancing issues. I'd rather have the game have fewer plants that are more balanced and consistent rather than have a messy hodge-podge of plants they made in a day to entice mouthbreathing players
Maybe if you like baby games like seriously place 2 or 3 zapdragons down and ypu beat every single level in the entire game easily 💀
@@walterwhite5764there are some levels in this game so horrendously designed that literally have tent spawning gargantuar at the start of the stage and the tent have the same stat as a gargantuar. Theres also many levels that spam an deranged numbers of objective at you that is extremely hard to fulfiller. If you think the plants are op you haven’t seen how shit this game levels are

All 3 songs were Wild West related, so I see no reason to use the Wild West theme that everyone knows about.

With electric snapdragon being ridiculously overpowered, i can only imagine that a poison snapdragon would be the opposite, a fun gimmick that is basically so useless you might as well give the guy a face mask instead of letting him fight the zombies
I imagine that the poison snapdragon would shoot poison clouds that give them the stallia and Shadow Shroom effects at the same time

Dual pistol pinccone: looks fun to use and its good
Narcissus shooter: good support plant and have pretty good damage
Alarm explosive arrowhead: same as squash, good early game plant with amazing damage
Crystal orchid: too gimicky to be useful
Thunder snapdragon: DBS GO BRRRRR
Narcissus sounds good at first but it's actually terrible because of its slow recharge and 300 sun cost. Magnet Shroom and Acid Lemon would do a much better job.
But it stip off armor from zombies
And I get stronger in big Wave Beach
dual pistol pin cone was actuality mad by a kid with a different food as his make a wish but he did not say his plant can be in game so they changed the plant to a pin cone
I swear, Alarm Arrow Head and Ruby Red are the 2 easiest legendary plants to found in the game, Talkweb doesn't want us to get other legendary plants without paying money.
