The thing is that civilian Ukranians away from the front are still having a better life than the majority of people inside Russia had before the war.
That is very true, just seeing the kind of people russia is sending to the front there is obviously a huge amount of crushing poverty in russia, the primary reason russians join the war is for money, you have to be really desperate to join for money.

For a country that has so ‘’much” resources, the majority of it’s population lives in poverty. The orcs were stealing toilets, amazed that Ukrainians had indoor plumbing.

Yes, I agree 100%. With all that's been going on... I have "discovered" a new country, and I like their people. The have impressed and filled me with respect. I don't think I would ever have had reason to visit that part of the world, before the war... but now it is certainly on my bucket list! (plus - Sunflowers are my favourite flower!)

The park is part of our biolab field training network. The ducks were surveillance ducks. The swans were checking the ground for hidden microphones.

The amazing thing is that Ukraine spent so much time behind the iron curtain but still managed to retain it's humanity. Never give in and never give up.

Also, for many, they know there's an h in there and one of the main points of reference for words using g and h, with the specific sound at the start of "Gandhi", is "Ghana" - so people copy in an effort to get it right, although it causes the mistake, sadly.
The fact that he's being quoted, though, shows that he is revered, respected, and admired globally 💕 I doubt that any disrespect is intended👍

I've been watching Taya for years! She has been great at introducing me to different aspects of Ukrainian life and culture before I took my trip to Ukraine in 2019 to visit a friend. I love Taya's village videos. It's so great to see you both collaborating on a short tour of some of Kyiv's points of interest.
Being with animals is a great way to relax.. A welcome break from the war and after Pregozhin all day yesterday! 🥰

As an American all I can say to Ukrainians is I love you guys. You have more in common with us than Russians, but without the bad parts.

I found her channel pretty soon after the war began. There were about 5 English speaking youtubers before the war. Now there are at least 50. Some have subtitles. No wonder westerners knew more about native Amazonians than Ukrainians.

An Emu in Kiev! In the Emu wars in Australia, the Emus won! Wise to be cautious, lol, but I used to feed the local ones when I was a little kid, with no fences. I have been attacked by an Australian Duck too, their feathers taste awful. Really nice to see a break from the crazy stuff, good on you both.
