  • Restaurants, cafes, stores are all slowly opening again in Kyiv, the capital city of Ukraine. Life has changed here, but continues to go on. People need to walk their dogs, socialize, eat, and go to work. Here's what life looks like now, 2 months after the war started, in both the city center as well as the "sleeping districts" of the left bank.

I was in the process of having our first family house built in the suburbs of Kyiv. After some thought, I came to the conclusion that I need to try to continue the project as soon as possible to help keep the Ukrainian economic gears turning. I didn't think of continuing over the past two months, but I decided to leave a message with the engineering company to see if

12:33 It is nice that you are pronouncing Kyiv the Ukrainian way now, keep up the good work raising money for good causes. It was nice that you bought the soldier a coffee, it was a small gesture that may touch him. You may be the last person to buy him coffee/show him kindness. I would be very very concerned if I had to go to Eastern/Southern Ukraine to fight, the machinery of war is so much better today than it was before at turning people into pulp, war is tragic.

20:00 The reason McDonalds is still closed in Ukraine is due to employee safety, they continue to pay their employees full wages while closed and have donated 5 million dollars to an employee assistance fund. The only McDonalds still operating in Russia are privately owned franchises they have no control over.

Most of the $5 million is going into Russia. That’s the problem.

Hello Johny once again!.... Hello from Boston Massachusetts, in this video you mention doing little, possibly insignificant things for others, like buying a soldier coffee or a babuska with loads of bread.... Johny please stand back and look at it from a different perspective: " It's the ripple effect"..... Johny you are doing a beautiful thing that others will fallow!, thank you Johny

Great to see you let your hair down 🤦‍♂️ and enjoy the beautiful country you are living in!! Great 👍 content Johnny, good to see somewhat of normality returning and shops are opening up. I would love to visit not only to see the country but, to help build, fix’s, clean up anything that I could assist on I would help, unfortunately financially it’s not possible 😔 but, I’m sure in my life I will visit!!! Take it easy Johnny and look after yourself 👊🤝!!!
