There is fog of war in the sense of your vision limit though. What I'm more interested in is if you can have a 1:1 aspect ratio, so you can see to the vertical limits of your vison. Wide screen like that only helps if you have vison from something else on the target there, and for anything longer you could always pan the camera.
I find really hard to play on my phone with my thumbs blocking 1/3 of my already small screen, so been playin with bluestack setups. Here are my results so far: (First turn off every self moving, attacking and aiming in the option menu, this just makes the pokemon harder to control, and most likely impossible to retreat.) 1: wasd SUCKS, yes you can cast skill faster and more precise, but thats it, moving and atacking is a pain in the a**, ive been using my mouse extra keys to cast (logitech g600) and even after devoting your left hand to just move is clunky af. It will only work if you decide to spam skills sitting at your goal or something lol 2: Left click moving (league of legends, dota II style) sucks even more, the fov is like too close to move in one direction and cast in the opossite one, its like playing lol completely zoomed in, but even worst. 3: The last and final option, use a controller. I used my ps dualshock and works just fine, you need to run a script to center your mouse cursor at the middle of the screen or your skills will aim always the wrong way with self and autocast. Navigating the menu is a pain, but since im in front of my computer, i just use my mouse to do so. This option requieres A LOT of kowledge in terms of bluestack setup and playing arround with the options, as well as memorizing every combination you set to level up your skills, surrender vote, jumping on the dugtrio platform (you need to set a controller combination to every one of the points in the map), map panning is not really "friendly", and more. To sumarize, pc is a middle ground, not as responsibe and easy to navigate as switch, not as precise as mobile. After playing on all 3 platforms, i have to say, mobile is by far, the superior one. Now that you can customize your ui size and location, playing on an ipad (or something with a bigger screen than a regular phone) is your best option. And switch seems to have the worst performance due to hardware limitations. So, fear not, pc is not breaking your ranked matches lol

This would be a big problem for some 'mons like Lucario who might charge PuP for the unstoppable buff or Venasaur using Solar Beam to peek further down the lane. If that cannot be overcome then playing on PC would be limited.

Imo, MOBA games are just objectively better when they can be played on PC precisely because you don't have to fight the controls when you can just point skill shots with the mouse. Part of me is excited about this. Part of me dreads that it's going to ruin the game for people who don't know about this and that PC players will get banned for that reason. People are already talking about mobile players having an advantage over Switch players. This is on a whole other level. Unite should've been a PC game from the get-go. MOBAs are way too clunky on console.
PC Master Race! This is absolutely disgusting though. I'm still gonna play it normally on my switch, but dang, quick precise aiming along with more vision are massive advantages. Still probably gonna play Switch normally though. I play casually since I don't plan to play tournaments, but the game does shove you into tons of ranked matches a lot if you want to get stuff faster. So I bet this is going to annoy the heck out of me if people start doing this frequently. The speed of being able to perform certain attacks is kind of a balancing act, so when you remove how long it takes to perform, game balance breaks so fast.
This is kinda awful, yeah, but it can get even more disgusting if people go the extra mile to code in an auto assist AI or something that helps position the mouse and do things for you. Although I dislike emulators being used for slight advantage, machine learning can make it much worse
Honestly i've tried Bluestacks (i made an account just for that, dont want any troubles xD) but when playing the game was very laggy and had some nasty issues (like the cursor being way too small) but im sure that with proper optimization and a better PC than mine this is legit broken, for some pokemon more than for others (Lucario on Bluestacks must be insane) and for seasoned moba player especially. After 6 years of League if i could play this game properly on PC it would be free candies, especially when most other players are trying to aim with a joycon...
If autoattacks were selectable, that would have been a real advantage. People always auto the wrong thing. I think that's still the greatest weakness of the game. And ironically, may also be it's best constant equalizer.

The obvious downside is performance, I know bluestacks is pretty performant but at the end of the day it is just vituralbox. I want to see how this actually plays in a real match, if there is any latency issues.
I’ve been thinking about this for a while ever since the last windows update came out and put a store in for apps, if we could play on pc by overriding it into mobile mode. Right now I have my side monitor’s second hdmi port used for my switch for when I wanna play a console game. I feel as though if I have my pc running then I’d might as well play another game instead. The only conundrum is while I’m playing I’m always trynna think of ways I can improve and I know it would be a lot easier for me to be on key and mouse.
All of this is just as easy to do on mobile. This game is the least competitive moba out there with people being able to make masters with a 49% winrate. 3 abilities and 1 item to use and people think pc is busted? Compared to the switch yea but so is mobile compared to the switch.

I won't play it on emu though. Bluestacks and gameloop supposedly mine data from your pc. I'm not sure how true that is though. I'm a big mobile gamer and I HATE those programs. In Apex mobile you can play it on EMU with aim assist.... MnK with aim assist is nuts.
A bit late but yes it is against TOS. Was looking into doing this for my PC but I found this out. I don’t think its a big issue unless you play a LOT of ranked

@@malaysiaa_xo besides i'm not doing competition, there is no real money involved, it's just a game and the number of places in master and ultra isn't limited, me being in master or ultra doesn't take away the chance of someone else to be in master or ultra.. if someone was going to be ultra, they're going to be ultra regardless of how many times they are unlucky enough to have to face me, because they want it so they're going to keep going until they get it.. besides I have terrible eye hand coordination skills in my hands and my hands hurt really quickly when I play on the switch even when it's docked and when it comes to the mobile version, I have an i pad and the buttons are not calibrated properly for tablet, also i have terrible eye sight so I can't play on a small screen.. I'm not a threat at all for anyone who feel seriously about obtaining a specific rank.. i'm only at 60% win rate at Ultra1 so i'm far from those super hardcore 80% win rate master ppl.. You should worry about how some ppl have much more access to level 30/25/20 gears than others and how the matchmaking is built rather than about how some ppl try to have a more enjoyable experience out of this game

You saw the video and the difference on pc is not even close. Also its just a matter of time for the AI coders to come out their holes and ruin the game. You can definitely cancel moves. They must not have set it up right. There's an option for it built in to the MOBA controls.
You can just attack and it'll cancel the move aswell
