I am glad I came across your videos because I am in my senior year as I started this college journey aiming toward nursing I got into the program, but it didn't go as I expected. I loved the idea, but after failing two times, I decided to switch majors, which I felt like a failure. With all this I really wanted to do something that i can also be able to impact my community and also love what I was doing and that's how i came across Healthcare Administration which I had never heard about and it was a short course but as I am nearing to the end as an international student I have started questioning myself whether this is a good enough career path for me. It scares me everytime i watch a video and everyone says you need to make connections but i even don't really know where to begin from. Anyway I am just gland to have came across your video and I hope you see this. You have given me confidence that its doable.
Yesss, it's very doable! It takes courage to switch up your plan but it's important to do what's right for you and your career. As far as making connections and networking, I'd recommend taking it one step at a time. Maybe talk to one professor after class, make one friend in one class, attend one event or club meeting and go from there. Do what you're comfortable with, and then push yourself to take that next step and continue growing.
thank you for this it put me at ease haha, I took a gap year after high school plus some extra time off so now I'm a junior while most others my age graduated and it always stresses me out to think I'll be so "old" when I graduate. In reality, it truly doesn't matter or make big difference :)
