- The Swedish singer Molly Sandén is the singing voice behind the character Sigrit in the Netflix movie Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga. One of the songs 'Húsavík' has been nominated for an Oscar in the 93rd Academy Awards, which will start on the 26th of April at 02:00 CEST.
The interview with Molly Sandén took place while she was in Iceland, recording a performance for the gala. Here she tells us about her journey as an artist and reveals some fun trivia from the road.

Molly! What a great voice and performance of ‘Husavik’ for Eurovision movie. I can see how it was difficult to live in LA, which is mostly better for vacation there anyway. Like you said ‘only for 2 weeks’, is probably best!
Since it didn't get the win, it would be only fair for the Song Contest to have a segment dedicated to the movie, with a performance of Husavik, and then - of course - Will Ferrell leading the crowd in a rousing rendition of "Ja Ja Ding Dong".
