I'm a drummer and have some insight on the snare. So, Ludwig is a pretty decent maker. A lot of their higher end drums are going to be used for jazz or similar genres. That snare drum is a secondary snare, as it plays a higher pitch than a main snare. Also, that snare is made out of maple and is sold for about $200 from retailers.
I think your take is pretty good for sure. I will add as well. Those secondary snares on the cheap end are usually made out of steel and they can be anywhere from 50-125. However, yours is a wood secondary snare so it's definitely worth at least 100. I would even set it at like $200 obo. Not sure on make and model but I wouldn't take less than 150
was there a ludwig badge shown in the video? I didn't see a brand shown other than the bag and drum head. Might not be ludwig... probably is but not sure.
Josh, I am a drummer and have been in music industry over 20 years, That drum is a Rocker Elite Piccolo Snare drum looks to be a 3X13(be sure to measure the diameter to be sure because that does matter when listing), it is maple, natural lacquer, and should easily go for $130- $150. Awesome pick up
Watching your videos makes me want to get out and thrift. But I have too much to list!! I wish my husband was as excited about thrifting as I am. He watch’s your flea market videos and is gobsmacked at what you find. But has no interest to go. I wish he would find a category of items to thrift when he goes with me. He just thinks it’s too boring. Maybe one day. I appreciate all your videos. Especially the reselling tips. It has helped me a lot to know what to look for and how to determine what to actually buy. Keep up the great hard work!! Love your humor and the enthusiasm you both have. Thanks!!
The decision to buy something new and outside your comfort zone is never a bad decision. Either you make a profit or you learn a valuable lesson that you'll take with you going forward on your next purchases.
I’m subscribed and never miss an upload. I love you guys, it’s not so much what you do, which is fascinating but it’s who you are that draws me in. You are a lovely young couple, working together to make a good life. Moes completes you and is adorable. Keep on doing what you do and take care xxxx
You two are soooo good at finding items in a sea of junk. I swear both of you have internal treasure detectors in your heads. Lol. God bless the 2 of you and continue to bless your lives for all your hard work.
I went to my closest goodwill this morning. I found only a couple things, so I felt pretty discouraged. I feel kinda bad that I was so discouraged though because of what happened next . . . I went to Walmart to buy snacks that I had promised my kids and found LEGO cheap enough to resell. I'm very thankful God provided something good to resell! I think God didn't allow me to find much at goodwill, so I would have maximum sourcing money for the LEGO. Everything happens for a reason.
I’d do the buy too. There is really no risk. You’re guaranteed to make your money back if anything goes wrong and it’s basically doubling your money easily. Great thing about clubs too is they’re easy to list and ship!
I always appreciate the education on golf clubs. That is one area I know almost nothing about. I have started to pay attention at the thrift stores now and take the time to look up sold comps on them. You always find some interesting items at your Goodwill Bins. I've only had the privilege of "Bins" shopping twice in the past couple of years (when visiting my kids out of state). They don't enjoy going, but I could easily spend an afternoon there.
I don’t think it was a bad decision, great money to be made. Because you can sit on them it makes it worth it. For someone that might need to turn their money quicker it would be safer to sell the set. I currently have 4 individual Callaway X-22 irons left to sell from a set. I paid $80 for the full set of iron and have already clear $65 profit from the other 4 that have sold. Enjoy the videos and thanks for accepting my offer on the graphing calculator!!!!
Those white and navy blue shoes at Salvation Army were Sergio Tacchini an Italian brand. It was when you were looking at the purple keens, They sell for around 200 new online!!

HT and Hailey, love your content but even more love how you do it together. Thinking of "trying" to talk my wife into it for some fun and a little spending $$. However, I wanted to ask if you could do a video or a quick tutorial on what you call surface cleaning or resurfacing of CDs and games? No matter what we appreciate your channel. Good luck.
Hayley you cracked me up with pulling out the bear/monkey critter🤣🤣 I think your “ paying up” for the clubs was a educated and calculated decision, go with your gut!!👍 Yes we love Mose !! ❤️❤️❤️Maybe he would like the bear/monkey!🤣😂
The best way to clean Bags that are all dusty like that but not necessarily dirty is to use your vacuum attachment and just vacuum the dust off! Makes them look brand new!!
You are right, Skechers back in the 90’s was a junk shoe. I bought a pair back then which came apart. The sole was suspended by wooden pegs and it came apart within a couple of months of ownership. I think I bought them from Payless.
My wife and I just wanted to let you guys know how enjoyable your videos are. Thinking about trying to sell online. Keep doing informative videos they’re awesome.
Thank you so much madding these videos, I am reseller for 6 months. You and your lovely wife are Awesome. So helpful I learn alot. My husband now is Loving going with me to help me find great finds. Y'all are so Wonderful, funny, great A+-+ Seller's. We all just love your dog. God bless y'all both

Once again great content...just love you two! But I laughed out loud seeing Mose watching over your shoulder from the kitchen. He is a scene stealer for sure! ❤️
I knew as soon as they took that drum to get priced it was coming Back priced a little higher than normal. Your lucky most places take them back in to get re evaluated. A lot of music equipment are pricy so that’s not too bad.I’ve learned not to ask in my day. Great video lol. Sometimes it’s better to leave with money In your pocket rather than buying everyone’s left overs. Keep pickin fam

As I am a drummer I am now really jealous.... man did I never find drums at my stores :) would love some restoration project like that. Ludwig is a good brand man. good job

Hey Josh! Greetings again from Simpsonville SC! My Dad was an avid golfer with a big head also! 😂. I have a big noggin’ also. He would use those plastic ball cap shapers and ran the hats through the dishwasher. It worked great for him and just let them air dry. He spent a lot of $$ on custom sized golf hats. Give it a try! Val
Looking at the case the drum was in, I would speculate that it was a student set that included a xylophone, mallets and sticks. Usually rented from music stores because most kids lose interest after a few months.
I am not a reseller or a drum expert, but I have bought and sold 2 Ludwig snare drums that I found at church sales. One I bought for $60 and it sold for $500. The other was some kind of very rare model. I paid $150 and it sold for $2200. When I saw you pull that drum out I kept saying, buy it! I have no idea if that drum is worth anything but Ludwig snares seem to be valuable. BTW, I have a Ludwig drum expert friend that advised me to buy them and he had contacts for selling them so we split the profit.
Skechers are a great brand actually and not as cheap as you think. Women's boots NEW can be anywhere from 75 to 120 dollars! Plus, Skechers are EXTREMELY comfortable shoes.

Hey, Josh and Hayley: I see in the background in your most recent videos a sewing machine in your garage. Would love to know more about it. And, BTW, I just love all of your videos. You two seem like such nice people!
Josh and Hayley bought a embroidery machine to embroider vintage shirts, tee shirts and hoodies with their logo. You can find them for sale in their store. Have a great day!
I think the snare drum is part of a snare drum/bell kit. Looks very similar to the Ludwig LE2482R snare/bell kit. That kit is for sixth graders so I don't think it's going to be as valuable as you were hoping. Still profit to be made though!
This video actually made me laugh out loud! You and Hayley are so brilliant, thanks for the great content! “What do you think mose? You don’t care about money, you don’t have any pockets” 🤣 cracked me up!

Next time you check a blender, do it with the blender container on it to be sure the blades move freely. I picked up a great blender that “worked”….until I got home and realized that the blades were seized and would NOT move. This was several years ago before I was aware of the concept of parting out items like that. I ended up re-donating the entire thing.
Still so jealous about everyone that has a Goodwill bins in their area. lol. great content as always. Love watching you guys and always learn so much. Thanks, Smitty.
Have you heard of Greased Lightening. I get at dollar store or Walmart. The absolute best stain and cleaner I accidentally found. Here's the great part. I have never ruined anything with it. I use it full strength let it set rinse get ready to be amazed.
I sold a similar Power Ranger plush (same time, same brand, same size, but the Red Ranger). He was dirty and still sold for about $50. I don’t remember the exact amount but it was somewhere around there!

I picked up a great blender that “worked”….until I got home and realized that the blades were seized and would NOT move. This was several years ago before I was aware of the concept of parting out items like that. I ended up re-donating the entire thing.

Happy Thursday Josh & Hayley 🥰🥳 Thanks For Taking Us Along 😉 IDK If You've Tried Washing The Baseball Caps In The Dishwasher. When They Are Done Rest Them On Top Of A Large Paper Towel Roll Until They Dry 😉
I would go to a music go round place and see what they will give you for it and then ask about detailed info about it. Then either sell it to them or ebay for more cash. I would wash the bag outside with some dawn dish soap and a hose
