I feel like you shoulda threw in the little pro tip that you can test any remote by putting your phone camera up to the end of the remote and push a random button on the remote and it will shine a purple light threw the end of the remote if it's working. Super easy way to test your remote. Even tho they almost always work I've had one or two that don't.

I was at Ollie's a few years ago and they had Taylor Swift Christmas ornaments 95% off of their listed price of $5.99. The original stickers from the place that sold them to Ollie's said $17.50. So I thought 30 cents for an ornament I can sell for $17, why not. I got home and they were selling for over $50. The other day I found one laying around that I hadn't sold and looked it up. They're almost $200 now.

Ive sold quite a bit of Texas Instruments calculators big and small, but recently, Goodwill went from selling these in a box for 1-3 dollars to 30 - 40 dollars. The Thrift stores are catching on to that little goldmine.

I would love to get to where I can travel to other cities and check out what their thrift stores have to offer. I also try to do as many garage sales as possible in the spring and summer. Another way I source is not most people's way or it's not as popular but it's extremely profitable if you are able to stand it and that is through dumpster diving lol. I know I know. Dumpster diving has a unique stigma but if the people with the negative outlook on it could just open their minds a bit they would understand. There are cons to it of course just like anything else. And there are def precautions to take and use while doing it. But when it's broken down, the advantages outweigh anything else. I take what I can profit off of and donate the rest. What do you do to source?

goodwill is a corporation that is hungry for big money...not to help the poor or pay school for poor kids...that is a front. sadly if they help someone is a really low low low loooow number of individuals...One time i crancked the numbers and calculate that they make more than 1 million in a week in one store...

Starting taking a hard look at remotes. Found Polk audio the other day that sold for $35. Not huge but just an example of how you have helped.
My question is how do you test random remotes if you don't have the electronics that they go to. You can put batteries in them and hit the buttons and look for some kind of IR light but you are still just taking a chance that they work properly.

List scratched sunglasses as frames only. Do NOT list anything that has a multiplication. Those are considered prescription and will be taken down and you can get suspended. List those as frames only as well

A lot of people don’t know how to replace the batteries, and would be willing to pay much more for a working watch, hassle free etc. replacing is easy as long as you are gentle and don’t touch the wrong part!, and batteries are like 4 for $1. I don’t resell and desperately need a job or income but yes I replaced a few batteries recently and it was rewarding to see old watches work again. However one didn’t work possibly due to my mistouch or just old so
If you haven’t sold a few thousand items eBay just doesn’t trust you enough to sell designer because it will most likely be fake. Sell hundreds of $20 items and you won’t have as many issues
I hardly find calculators, sunglasses, remotes, wallets. I have found one amazing hp calculator in my 10 years of selling and I've lived in 2 different states. So a lot of this stuff are Easter eggs. I have found a lot of ink and toner. Some cameras. The more this stuff is shared the harder it will be to find out there. Well done. I hope you make your video money.

Can t wait to see the coin video as i found, like two years ago, while metal detecting, a whole metal box full of coins starting in the 20s up to the late 80s, from allover the place.
