Ladies! That was spot on musically. But watch the videos of the Andrew Sisters. They smiled so much every chance they got. In 1982, I was in a leadership program. I had a music coordinator overseeing our rehearsal. She walked to the back of the auditorium to listen and watch. In the middle of the song she yelled, "SMILE DAMN IT! SMILE!" All of us in the band at the same time said. "I am smiling." She explained it didn't look like it from the back. She demonstrated a huge show your teeth grin. That's when I learned that I could put my top front teeth on my bottom lip and be absolutely miserable or focused but across the room I look like I'm happy and having fun. I hope this helps. You ladies are wonderful!
That was crazy good! I wish their choreography had been better and their outfits looked more authentic but WOW their voices were phenomenal! Best I've heard in a while for a quartet!!!!!
I will never understand, how people can sit on their chairs during such a performance. Not even whipping with their heads. That must be very frustrating for the girls performing.
kallewirsch2263 I know what you mean! I went to a jazz band concert at my university and those people were sitting still as statues in their chairs! Me? I was bouncing around in my chair, snapping my fingers, tapping my toes, bobbing my head, and having a GREAT time! I was looking around at those people like, "HELLO??? Are you alive???" At the college I had transferred from, we'd have been HOOTIN' N HOLLERIN', WHISTLING, CAT-CALLIN' and DANCING!!!
This is also true in the church house. You have a worship team for a reason, not to sit and watch like a tv show. Sing! Clap your hands! Even raise your hands if you feel moved! Stand!
what amazing me, they did this in a high school stage, with a entry level PA, and I assume untrained tech at the board.Let these ladies perform with professional support, be really wow.
YOU GIRLS ARE GREAT,.....Hire a Band And Record more Songs.....Please share your gift With The World and If You Need a Bass Player for your band Call ME or Message me here. I Know all the Music as I Have A World War Two Papa And A Rosie The Riveter Mama....Thank You Girls For Keeping Alive All The Soldiers Memories. Keep Recording ...Your Voices are BEAUTIFUL.......Mark
Wonderful rendition! However, I would have thought these were Sweet Adeline's and not a Barbershop. Seeing as the Sweet Adeline's are women acapella and Barbershops are men. Or are we going gender neutral here as well?
Good job ladies
Awesome ladies !!Andrew sisters would be proud of you !!
Thank you.
That was very good. One of my favorite songs. You young ladies sung it to perfection.

Hi Greg! 5 years after this video was filmed, three of us were bridesmaids in the lead singer's wedding :)

They even stay on pitch in C Major throughout. Bravo!
great!
That really good! They need some music for it! What's the matter with the crowd??
I'd b clapping along right away!
That would be rude. It's not about YOU, It's about them! I would be quiet so as not to miss anything. Making noise is disrespectful.
Can you imagine a double bass playing along with these girls
No.

If one does not bop to boogie woogie, one is dead in one's soul.

@@Joanla1954 Make a joyful noise...
I'm just shocked that high school kids would even know that song. Outstanding rendition, by the way, ladies.

Not a bad suggestion. Some of the great girl groups of the late 50’s and 60’s, were high school groups that found an audience.
I like the cute one.
You're gonna have to narrow it down.
Scottsdale?
Henderson, Nevada.
Now do Candyman!.... No! Wait!
