@@RBTheMechanicThanks for the responses. I do appreciate your time. The compressor seems to engage. Before the most recent issue, while adding the refrigerant the compressor would engaged and disengage. When the whirling sound stopped, the needle on the gauge would drop closer to the low-psi end. I did suspect the compressor because of the increase in the pressure, sending the needle from Green to Red after driving the car. Before adding refrigerant, I drained the pressure from low-pressure valve, and released pressure from the can of refrigerant before charging.

@@RBTheMechanic I charged it with Freon until near Yellow zone. I suspect that it is the relay, as you suggest. I did try swapping it out with the other gray one but I didn't notice a difference. I also replaced the 7.5 fuse; however, before I began having problems with the AC, when starting the engine, I sometimes heard a whining-type noise coming from the Fuse box direction.
@@WayneTDowdy3 ok well I think your ac compressor might be bad you might have to do small electrical test to see if ac compressor is getting power but u might have to take it workshop ... also it’s no proper to add Freon with can best way t charge the system is to recover vaccume and recharge with correct amount .... too much pressure will cause ac to be hot and air pressure as well ur just jamming it up
Try this also before u take it to workshop. Have some one sit inside the car u open the hood and let them start the engine put the ac on once they switch ac on the radiator fans should come on that will tell u that system is working ac relay fuse is good and has pressure and all u need to now see is if ac compressor engaged if it didn’t then u have bad ac compressor
Please tell me your in the dallas fort worth area
Sorry bro I’m up north NJ but I can help u ask me anything let’s see how we can do
