Feb 9, 2009, I had six bypasses on the same left anterior descending artery. I had just come home from to Southern California from a business trip on the east coast when I went to gather up my luggage and meet the wife and grandkids when the pain hit. I hit the floor and that was it. Surgery here I come. Years later I had a stent installed on the right circumflex artery. Genetics does play a role, as a med student, the quiality of life has a bigger impact than genetics alone. About 80% of Heart related problems can be avoidable by Healthy Lifestyle changes, also there has been studies confirming that serum LDL level below 70 will never makeyou have a heartattack regardless of genetics. Many patients like to rely their acts on gentics and not take acrion on their health. If you live a life style that does you good all the time, there is little way it can cause harm like artery blockage. Also yes, Anabolic Steroids did play not a minor but a huge role in his case, hiven the fact thay anabolic steroids cause immense plaque buildup because of very high LDL and low HDL, plus high APO-B protein in blood

With a blockage that serious you will usually pick it up on the initial EKG which would show a STEMI and warrant an immediate trip to the cath lab. I know this all too well, except my problem is not with coronary arteries being blocked - had a heart Cath last week - my problem is my Aortic Valve is shot. I’m only 61. I get surgery in a week. I also have Hemochromatosis, so that complicates matters - I might only have a choice of a Prosthetic Valve (versus a Bovine Valve). The surgeon also has to clip off my atrium, and narrow my Mitral Valve opening. So, I’ve got a lot going on. And, oh yea - I’m in heart failure too.

@@psp785 No, not all pro-wrestlers use steroids. Several current top pro wrestlers aren't big at all. They look like athletes in top shape, but not much mass nor even height. Nothing at all like the 1980s. Nowadays it's smaller, faster, aerodynamic guys.
It would be interesting to see some percentages as to how many current wrestlers take steroids. There's never been any studies on it.
In the early-1990s, the hammer came down when McMahon was facing a possible 11 years imprisonment for distribution. The drug testing that he imposed for a few years was real, and if the wrestlers tested positive, they were fired. The most massively-muscled guys began shrinking or left the promotion. Steroids only became illegal in the USA in 1991.

You're missing another part . Although never proven We have to take a consideration to fact that Mr. H was an annabolic Steroids for long time .Which causes an enlargement of the heart and irregular heart beats . An enlargement of the heart is common among athletes But that's an important factor. The injury sustained in the years is a big factor Especially prescription painkillers And all the surgerys Not to mention sleep deprivation and stress

    • @JoshN0S
