Bravo...great result. I really enjoyed watching your video. Very therapeutic knowing I'm not the only person who screws up along the way. I see so many woodworking videos which are really adverts for tools, where everything looks perfectly planned and executed. For most of us, your video is far closer to reality. And I've know doubt you will keep refining your design the more you use it. Thanks again.
i really like that you showed the mistakes that you made in addition to their solutions, this is really helpful in demonstrating wood shop problem solving, an invaluable but often overlooked component of the craft. thank you sir
This is a great stand. I definitely want to make one myself for my DW7491. One option is saw another person include that you might consider is cutting out the top below the saw and adding a very shallow drawer to catch sawdust that doesn’t get sucked in by the dust collector and falls down. Then you can just slide out that drawer and suck up the sawdust that falls in.
Thank you for taking the time to make and post this video. It turned out really well in the end. Mistakes happen to us all bro. It looks like you didn't draw any plans. We can't get too critical when using that method, as re-designing and modifications are an inevitable part of the process. Also if no plans were drawn up then I submit that these are not mistakes or "screw ups" at all but, merely part and parcel of designing as you build. Live long and prosper.
Thx for the idea! I Used your idea and combined it with a routertable which uses the fence of the Dewalt. I made a separate fence that slides over the fence of the Dewalt, I also added a dust extraction port. Already thinking about an improvement of the fence to make it more adjustable. For now it works fantastic! The outfeed extension makes it a lot safer to saw longer stock.. Again, thx!
Music was dope - nice And like that U were open about mistakes- 100% of any of us watching, that make / build / create , have been there Bro - trial and def some errors - But that’s what makes it interesting - Great Job !!
Thank you very much for your clearly detailed video. I own a compact saw made by the same company that made the Dewalt saw. It's just what I needed, but I really would like a folding wing for it (and....maybe an out-feed wing too,now that I've seen yours. Your design is brilliant, very simple and looks very stable for years of reliable service. I am going to build a setup just like yours. I have subscribed to your TH-cam channel.......I like what you do, you are a gifted woodworker, God's blessings,H.
I'm new to woodworking and just came across your amazing video. I've watched this at least 6 times. Please please will you give me a few dimensions please please 🙏
Thanks for your kind words! Dimensions are up to you depending on the size of your tablesaw and how tall, wide and deep your working area should be. Don't be afraid to do, undo, redo, that's the fastest way to improve your skills, imho.
Hi, many thanks for an informative video and a good design. I want to modify my own mobile table for the same de Walt sawto incorporate outfeed. Because of limited space in my workshop, when weather permits I like to move the saw outside to use. Can you tell me the overall dimensions with the outfeed arms folded down so I can make sure it will go through my door ! Thanks again
Thanx John! Check out the video description for the dimensions. Basically, the extra width/length is 4 layers of 3/4" ply/melamine plus the thickness of the piano hinge. The total width is roughly 66cm/26", so it goes through standard 73cm/28" doors!
Don't worry, I know! I built the base stand a couple years ago, and it was my first attempt using pocket screws. I must admit I went a little bit crazy with the screws, but it was mostly to practice and have fun with my new Kreg jig!
Hi, thanks for the video! Easy to watch. How tall is the table finally? I have the same saw and think about making a stand. But I’m unsure for the total high (including this saw) I’m thinking of 85 cm ? Any advise? Thx
Thanks! The final height of my table is roughly 92 cm. I wouldn't go under 90 cm, but the ideal height is whatever you're the most comfortable with, depending on your size and preferences.
Hi Eric, another great video. Like your work. Can I ask you how happy you are with your DW745. Have seen many reviews and the fence is absolutely amazing. However, the dust extraction is apparently not that good. Can you confirm that and share some thoughts. Thanks From Germany.
Thanks Lars! The Dewalt is a very good saw for its price, and its fence is great! The dust extraction is not really good, true, especially if it's connected to a simple shopvac. A dust collector above the blade would help a lot I guess, but I'm not planning to add one anytime soon, so I can't tell. I own a Bosch as well, which is quieter (the Dewalt is very noisy), but I prefer the Dewalt by far. Personal preference I guess.
Put it on a stand like Hodyo, except have a drawer at the top. Take off the side off the blade cover underneath, and cut as large an opening in the tip of the cabinet, and just let the chips/sawdust fall into the drawer.

Thanks for your kind words! Wait until I release the video of my new table saw stand! I screwed up, again!!
i really like that you showed the mistakes that you made in addition to their solutions, this is really helpful in demonstrating wood shop problem solving, an invaluable but often overlooked component of the craft. thank you sir
Thank you David!
Yep, I agree with David, I'm planning my own wood shop and I can learn from both your great ideas and avoid your mistakes HODYO Design 5⭐'s

Fantastic! Inventive and creative! Especially reversing the video. Look forward to more art Thank you so glad I stumbled on your video.

Make it happen Captain...Great Video and process. I like you style. Thank you for sharing. Keep up the good work.
I love the idea of using magnets to get things properly aligned.
Nice simple design 😊
I like the stand. Music was good and your video was well done.
Thank you for making this excellent video. I made a cart for my table saw 2 years ago. I am going to modify to add these.... I think it's doable!
As I said in Instagram, liked, and watched! We done my friend.

Many good ideas and examples!! Thanks!
Simple and nice job. But in my opinion one more fixing is needed: a cut out for the rivin knive removal arm.
Great projrct!!project!!! I gotta build one!!!
functional, looks beautiful
Great video, love the music.

So nice video, first video on how to do a table saw stand, and voila going to build one like yours ;) thanks for the video.
can i ask the dimensions of the kabinet ? width X length ? i know the hight is individual ;)
Great job! I never thought of sanding those adapters that don't quite fit, so that's a great extra.
If the height difference is not that significant, why not add some woodblock to the caster to raise the whole stand to match with your feeding table?
no judgement here I have made plenty of mistakes myself, great video!
Very helpful video.
very entertaining and informative too. thanks for sharing :-)
Encore une vidéo au top, merci !
Nice; this is exactly what I need. Do you have plans?
Thanks! I always build things on the fly, so don't expect to find any plan on this channel. Sorry!

Eric, je vous remercie donc pour cette information . merci
After watching this video I can see why so many people have trouble with dust collection.
Good job
good stuff, im copying that ;0)
Excelente! Gracias por compartir👍
Not Judging....when you make a wood box (aka cabinet) fewer pocket screws will work fine.i like the overall design.

I must admit I went a little bit crazy with the screws, but it was mostly to practice and have fun with my new Kreg jig!
Cool and easy to watch video! Good music. I was wondering if you were going to use OSB and there it is! lol
Thanks Paul! A little touch of OSB just for you sir :-)
I just bought a 745 but I cant't find any adapters to connect to my shop vac hose, Any suggestions ?
It depends on your shop vac hose diameter! Check out this one : www.amazon.com/DEWALT-DWV9140-2-1-4-Inch-Adapter/dp/B00B6K4W0M

Nice update
Good project, but the music ughh, had to mute
looks paractical, tho prefer commentary than music and reading txt :)
I think I would have lowered the out feed table and shortened my video 🤭
Why make things simple when they can be complicated? Truth is I will soon replace the casters with some leveling ones, so expect another video! ;-)
Silly me, I would have just bought larger casters!!
Why would you buy stuff that you don't need??? Instead of buying new casters, I bought a couple bottles of wine that I shared with some friends ;-)
Prem’s ! :)
muito bom
using hand screwdrivers?? WTF?
