Welcome to the channel. In this episode, I do the final bit of assembly on the transaxle, plus a couple of minor repairs and modifications. Please enjoy.
Hi mate you’ve done really well with this, especially attacking it in the back yard. Just brilliant. I can’t thank you enough for the shoutout, that was really nice of you. I hope someday we can collaborate mate that would be great. I’m sure we can make it happen in the future
Thanks for the support, Steve! I certainly appreciate it. Yeah, I'd love to catch up with Geoffrey someday, too. Fingers crossed, this thing will run like a dream when it's all done!! Ha ha!!
Thanks for the shoutout Pete. I’m going to hopefully say when and not if I get to Australia again visiting you will be on the agenda. For resurfacing large surfaces like you did I have a flat rear glass out of a pickup I lay on my solid flat work bench. I then stick wet dry sand paper to it with sanding disc adhesive and work part to be surfaced back and forth and circular motion, works good. Poor man’s surfacing machine.
You’ve got steel balls Pete tackling that in your backyard. Great content and surprised your subscriber numbers aren’t higher. The camera work and sound have come on leaps & bounds - keep up the great work 🇬🇧
Thanks for the support! It's not 'that' big of a job, and most of it was done on the back veranda. But yeah, doing it in a workshop would have been much more comfortable!! The more I video / edit, the more I learn. Thanks again! :-)
Thanks Rob! I appreciate your support. As a kid, I used to spend my school holidays in a little town called Geroa on the north end of 7 mile beach. Do you know the place? I've got a lot of awesome memories from there.

Thanks Geoffrey, great advice about the sheet of glass. The idea of a trip to the US for me isn't out of the question, either.
