now that you released this video im glad ive been too busy ( or the weather was shit the 2 times i was free ) to paint my atlas gundma that i was saving to use your paints with
This is awesome, helps me understand the logic a bit more. Painted a similar way on an apothecary for 40k, but didn't realize the logic behind it and went to use too many shades so this will improve things for me a ton!
I'm nostalgic for the F90 because I grew up with a Korean knockoff kit in the 90s. This one looks a lot better than that. ,:D Congrats on the paint line dude!
It's funny how the asshole progressives talk about how bad hate and racism is then they dog pile on a POC they don't agree with and spew the same stuff. Funny I thought the leftists thought that people of color can't be racist? They actually boycotting newtype too.
Great video! I just got my first airbrush for Christmas, videos like this are going in the bookmarks for future reference as I try to figure out what I'm doing.
Thank you for sharing your own painting techniques, Everytime when I watch your videos and reviews I'm amazed at how you paint your gunpla's really awesome and you're always sarcastic I like that, and its entertaining to watch. Keep going bro🔥🔥🔥
This is awesome. I'm only just getting into using brushes and paint to touch up my gunpla for small details etc, but I see what you can do with an airbrush and I just want to aim for that high level of detail.
I remember emailing you awhile back and you sent me down my paint journey. Picking this up from the the Gundam place store since im in atl! Cant wait to try em out.
Basically what I learned with painting minis - when painting white, the color you use the least is pure white itself, it's more striking when used in moderation.
Your paintjobs and builds are always amazing and so aesthetically pleasing to look at. Is it possible to use your paints to shade on other brand basecoats like Gaianotes/Mr Color, or do your whites only work well with your paint line?
I feel like I used the paints wrong lol I was painting different panels in different shades to break up all the white of the zeta. I may try what your doin on my next kit the calibarn which is just white...like all white lol
Well I have saved a few hundred dollars after the switch so the booth has paid for itself. The air flow is also fantastic with a 5mm needle there is no longer any dust or blow back. I highly recommend this booth for people with pets and or kids.
@@ItsAGunplaI find the filters for the Pace clog too quickly. Especially when spraying primer. Unfortunately spent the ~$300 on the pace a year ago. Going to try and custom make a cheaper filter to use for priming. I still like it though. Not sure when I’d move to a waterfall booth. I do 3 to 4 kits a year right now.
How long do these paints last. I’m probably not going to get my first airbrush till March. Would it be okay to get these paints now and shelf them till then?
On a spoon it makes more sense for the middle to be lighter than the edges because it's round.... But I never understand why we always go darker on the edges instead of lighter. If you get up close and personal with just about anything other than a car and even some older cars they get lighter around the edges especially military vehicles as the primer used on those vehicles is always lighter and they wear faster at the edges. Making it lighter. You also get a brighter reflection from the edge not a darker one. Sorry for the rant. But I've always found it funny.
that style is very much vaild, and I have seen some cool builds with that paint style. My approach is the mindset that where most peoples eyes would focus is the light source if you flash a light at an object head on the edges become the darker area.
@@ItsAGunpla man I haven't seen any builds like that. Usually it's just pre shaded and that's it. Lol but I'm going to go on a hunt now. But as always great video love your stuff dude.

Friendly reminder to anyone rushing off for some new paint: don't forget a bottle of Mr. Color Levelling Thinner. Can't wait to try these out!

This looks amazing, I need to pick these paints up a Unicorn build.

Congrats on the paint line dude!
Thanks Gundam. This is insightful.
loveing the white gradients on my 40k stuff. they spray really nice and also work well on a wet pallette
Started painting my gunpla kits. Thank you Gundam, you inspired me to go into painting.
Your paint line is MUST buy. Im trying them out now and Im intrigued 👍👍
I hope they live up to expectations.
This came at a perfect time. I bought a ton of Gundams paint from Splash. Ready to dive into painting my first kit
Gonna need this when I do my PG Unicorn final battle ver
Nice man the paint looks amazing
Haha, your builds are great. I don't care what the Gunpla subreddit says about you, good stuff ItsAGunpla 👍
😂😂
Truly a master at work, shame they can't compare

Wait people don’t like him?
Dude, thank you for doing this.
Sadly I had to rush this video so I couldn't do a Deep explanation of my painting style. Hopefully this is enough to get people going.
@@ItsAGunpla no one knows what it means “but it gets the people going”
Congratulations!! Also the kit looked so amazing.
It's a good day when papa posts on this channel!
I can't get enough of white paints. I'll have to see if I can get a hold of some of your line.

Okay now that's a title r/gunpla can get behind!
True they are a little too white.
Nice a tutorial video.
Damn that shading is smooth af. Can’t wait to get an airbrush myself. Great stuff as always 👍
Wow, looks great. Very nice colors as bases.

Being color blind and watching the 2 spoon side by side is like someone holding up 2 "white" crayons and being told "one is whiter"

I always enjoy watching your Gundam content. Oh and screw Reddit.
is this the content that people on reddit are seething about? this is educational
😂😂
I missed that thread yesterday, when i finally logged onto Reddit it was locked.

Big up's on the paint line broski.
I want to get your whole paint set. If I had the money

yes I would say base coat gaianotes and shade over with my paint. Since the mix ratio is perfect for a controlled shading experience IMO.
I feel like I used the paints wrong lol I was painting different panels in different shades to break up all the white of the zeta. I may try what your doin on my next kit the calibarn which is just white...like all white lol
Waterfall booth? You changed out the pace booth?
RIP pace spray booth. Replacing the filters get to you?

Kaizo Waterfall spray booth

What happened to the Pace PK airbooth?

I'm a bit of a glue eater, would your paint line work with the Vallejo Mecha color at all?
Got myself a set. Now to learn how to use an airbrush....
Sick! I paint Warhammer, would these paints work on those kits?
was the f90 the size of a happy meal toy?
Maybe so tbh
daddy always told me if its all white, its allllll right
"How to Blend Whites" - Gotta admit, i expected a Pokimane joke.
Wish these paints were available in the Philippines 😢
Splash paints does do some overseas shipping.🤔

Yo, do you for real have a color called Betty White? 🤣
