Fluffy is such a good Doggo
Here, I've been cutting out parts of runners- sometimes there are flat parts near the runner labels, and that can be cut into a nifty little base plate.
this is an actual gundam lifehack
Get some plaplate.
Draw up your dreams on paper
Sit there with the paint looking at reality
Weep a little
Throw plaplate away
The best paint Citadel ever made was glazes and they discontinued those.
I replaced my lamenters yellow with yellow ink. It was sad to see the old glazes go
contrast is fun to use but probably isn't very good for gunpla
@@lanasmith4795 I loved the blue glaze for making power weapons and heat effects on melta guns and flamers.
@@egnaroelprup It can be, but you need to add a bit of thinner in some cases. Wherever the armour is round, there is no problem. but on flat edges I find thar adding some thinner is mandatory!
I see fluffy the safety inspector was helping out on this episode LOL
Vallejo is great. So much more value for money than citadel and denser pigments.
I also pick up Ammo Mig whenever I can find it. For the same reason.
Honestly I don't even play games or know anything about gundam stuff but I've been watching for about a year now because I enjoy honest people who are passionate about what they do, keep up the great work gundam!
Ayyo I was literally looking up videos for this! Now I get quality information from one of my favourites
One more reason to get a 3D printer. I got the ones from wave, but I plan to print the rest since I need 200.
You mean printing figures? Where are you finding good STLs? I’ve found some on Thingiverse, and there is an STL pack on Etsy for a hangar crew, but I have yet to find another source of 3D printable miniatures for Gunpla.
7:12 didn't expect that lol
Do you see those little squarish shapes where the numbers of the parts are on some model kits?
There are brands that made them round too.
Just file off the number and glue your figure on it,paint as pleased and varnish.
No need for trouble.
Yes I’m happy to see this.
The man wasn't joking around when said these little figures are hard to come by. Can't find any here in Canada lol.
This looks good!
3:32 Bevel the edges is the phrase you are looking for I believe
i just painted my first mini-figures for a diorama that came with the Ver.Ka MG Ball! They were actually way more fun than I thought they'd be, so i'd be down to see more videos about mini-figures or dioramas if you got a few ideas
I wonder if you used clear, very thin plastic for the bases then they would be less noticeable and more versatile?
Always here for support love the videos
THERE'S A GUNDAM DOWN HERE!
Great work always love your videos on both channels.
Will we ever see Billy on a gundam review?
They're about to add Sazabi to Gundam Battle Operation 2.
PLA is PolylActic Acid, it's the specific type of plastic.
Vah - yeh - ho that's how you pronounce it.
I like miniature pilot gundam
My goodness. you come a long way. your video editing is improving! Great job dude.
If you can get clear pla plate you can make it nigh seamless
Based
I need a link or name of that cutting board. That looks slick
Very useful.
I don’t get why people want bare or empty bases.
It’s just lazy.
If I spent a few hours painting a really nice mini; I want my space marine to be on a base with some Eldar skulls to something.
🎩
🐍 no step on snek! 🇺🇸🇭🇰
Goblin green rims on green sand bases are the way to go! :P
To be fair these bases are bloody small, but I think I agree with you on warhammer figure bases
Who wants bare/empty bases on their warhams? People who see them as game pieces first, art second.
Gundam you have to check out a tool called a fractal vice
General question, would 3D printing the figures with the stands for the figurines diminish the overall value of a set? Like if you needed it done before a deadline and decided to save time 3d printing the tiny stuff
Nice Ty for the video
People find newtype’s shipping to be too much? That makes no sense to me because I thought that was the standard for most gunpla web stores.
It might also be that when I order something from there it gets shipped very quickly.
Nice
5:06 - OH MY GOD lmao that's so mean. Poor dude. He's a nice guy too. Such a shame.
Wouldn't using a clear sheet be better?
Is there a way I can buy a set of crew figures rather than getting them one at a time from each kit?
hell ya bro
whats the next build after the xi
Where can i buy those tiny figure guys
What channel do you recommend for a referencing painting miniatures and weathering tanks video you brought up last time. ?
Have a look at night shift. Amazing details.
@@doubleheadedeagle6769 Thank You very much.
Is there that pla plate the same thing as regular plasticard?
Where do you get these figures?
Anyone know the scale of similar figures? I want to stock up on civilians for my Godzilla figures and Gundam figures. I think I’d prefer 1/144 but idk what it translates to in other mini figurines. I’ve been trying to research them so much
Engagement comment for the algorithm god.
not to be that dude but in spanish its pronounced vai-ey-ho. the ll is it's own letter that's usually silent. ella (she), armarillo( yellow) for example.
It's not silent, the "ll" in Spanish makes the sound like "y" in yo-yo or yak.
Comment for the reach
Fucking Ebay scalpers are killing me. All I want is a MG guncannon and guntank. I have kits to trade or sell but im not scalping.
Why didn't you just call this channel papa gunpla
26 seconds old vid, no views yet I'ma fix that rq
First, painting pilots is easily one of the most aggravating things about gunpla
Second, who even cares about the standing pilot unless you like making realistic MS hangar scenes?
You sound different but not.
