It’s the reason he never got the defensive against dark arts because everyone who has that role either dies or has to leave at the end of the year that’s why he wanted
I believe he had more scenes in the later movies though? I heard in all the movies combined he had 43 minutes of screen time. Only a few minutes in the first few, nearly 10 minutes in the last.
Allan Rickman who played Severus Snape was the best actor in the Harry Potter movies. I can't imagine any other actor playing this part better, he was brilliant.
No one else besides Alan Rickman could have made so many people fall in love with Snape. I fell for him in 1995 when he was in Sense and Sensibility (I was 17, he was nearly 50) and I've never gotten over him, even 8 years after his death. Thank you so much for this.😭❤🔥
Juliet Stephenson said that Alan had everything, He could make you laugh he could make you cry and he could make you fall in love with him,. Even Alan's brothers said that women loved Alan which is true
Best thing is, in the books, Snape was described as somewhat ugly and sour. But in the movies, Alan Rickman made Snape attractive and handsome in so many ways.
"Has it ever crossed your brilliant mind that I don't want to do this anymore?" He only wanted someone who take him in consideration, to think about him as a human being with feelings. The love of his life died and the next day he had a task to accomplish just for her memory, he couldn't even move on or consider to have a normal life cause everyone around him could be in danger, he had the worst reputation, everyone hated him and even when facing death he was desperate to show Harry his story, not to be saved or defend himself, all he wanted was to be understood at least in the very end and by the only person he always cared who happens to be the son of the woman he loved until his last breath. Severus will always hurt but how people misunderstood him cause he was fighting against (and failing) to project his childhood bullying trauma onto the sons of those who hurted HIM the most will also hurt forever.
Right? Like, everyone used to sneer that Snape wanted the DADA post for his ego, but he probably only wanted it so the curse would let him leave Hogwarts 😂
I loved Snape since book one. I knew there was some twist coming that he was a good guy, but when deathly hallows 2 dropped I was blown away by just how badass he was. He was the single MOST vital person behind Voldemorts demise... When the movies came out with Alan Rickman it was fabulous, as I always imagined Snape exactly like his persona. If Jesus could pass a message I would just like to say RIP Big guy, thank you for 30 years of my life enjoying your one of a kind acting style, tone, mannerisms, throughout the most impressive range of genres you mastered. Brilliant and hope to meet you one day mang.
I find it funny that Bellatrix and Narcissa didn’t catch to what Snape actually meant… “I’ve played my part well- so well that I have deceived one of the greatest wizards of all time.” And then followed up with “Dumbledore is a GREAT wizard.” The way he phrased it made it seem like he was talking about deceiving Dumbledore, but he was actually talking about Voldermort. They heard what he said, but weren’t really listening. Only Snape would give them that kind of clue and it go right over their heads 😂
I loved this.I’m obsessed with Snape thanks to Alan Rickman bringing him to life and I watch with sadness that Alan is no more, but I’m so glad the films keep him alive in a way.And I can always smile at Obviously and the boggsrt scene. Both still make me chuckle after all this time.Always!❤❤
1:50 Snape’s first words to Harry are an apology - when translating his words into Victorian Language of Flowers it reads “I bitterly regret Lily’s death” 😭
Thank you so much for this compilation! I just recently finished rewatching all 8 movies and I must say, Alan’s scenes, especially scenes along with Maggie Smith, Michael Gambon, Imelda Staunton, Ralph Fiennes, Jason Isaacs, and Helena are truly exceptional and masterclass worthy in acting! Their expertise truly jumps off the screen and I am just in awe of their talent. No doubt they are legends in their field.
I would LOVE a Sirius Black scenepack, a Bill and Fleur scenepack (not only the scenes when they're together, but the separate ones as well), a Fred & George scenepack, a Hagrid scenepack, a Lupin & Tonks scenepack (all of their scenes, not just their mutual) and a McGonagall scenepack. Along with Snape they are my favourite characters from this universe. I'd be glad if you could post such videos, though I don't mind when or even if you post nothing at all. I've made scenepacks of characters from series with many episodes in the past and I know just how tiring it is. Either way, thank you for these videos. :)
I like how as Potter gets older he starts to have good comebacks to Snape's jabs. You can even see his thoughts in his expression. "Damn you really are just like your father"
I would've loved to see a duel between Voldemort and Snape with the Elder Wand. If I remember correctly, in the 6th book Snape conjured of a fire wheel when escaping Hogwarts. He was very knowledgeable about both magic and Voldemort. However, I believe he would've still lost the duel if he was alone. His greatest chance of defeating Voldemort would've been in bringing allies.
Allan Rickman played Snape so perfectly that I don't think anyone can reach this level of acting. When I read the books, this is the image I have of the character...
Snape is a true legend, loved his character firm and fair, yet unbelievably loyal to Lily, he had an absolute shit life and kept his composure until death. Snape's a silent hero and one of the best types too, he died with only Harry knowing the truth.
It’s nice how Snape actually does something in each movie PS - Assumed Villain CoS - The 2nd person to see Ron and Harry after they arrived PoA - Saved The Golden Trio against Lupin GoF - Gave Barty the Veritaserum OoTP - Legilimens lessons. HBP - Do I need to explain? DH P1 - Helped Harry find the Sword of Gryffindor in the lake DH P2 - Snape’s Memories.
I love McGonagall in the scene when theyre talking abt whether to let Harry be in the competition. Shes so done with Dumbledore and Snape and her turn at the end ks amazing
3:58 It was Professor Quirrell tried to kill Harry not Snape when his cloak caught on fire, he broke Quirrel's eye contact and Quirrel was the one who let the mountain troll in the dungeon. Snape was trying to save Harry.
love the cut but like maaaan you left out the scene in goblet of fire where he pulls students out of carriages and accosts ivan karkaroff the way he rushes up to the carriage at the start of the scene is top 3 snape alan rickman slays
5:285:32 I like how in trying to teach them to be better liars so that the bad guys don't know what they're up to he inadvertently made himself look like a bad guy I mean you kind of is but isn't enjoyable bad guy
Omg... Look at Alan Rickman's acting when Snape confronts Sirius, 18:29. Look at that sheer, formidable hatred. You can tell he was given crucial information about the character and used it extremely well.
Snape in 1-3 movie - Just Angry brooding teacher we always avoid in school, but will help the student anyway Snape in 4-6 movie - Evil character who manipulate the headmaster and kill him Snape in 7 movie - the hero who live in the dark to protect the light
McGonagall: "I will be writing to both of your familys tonight. Harry: But do I have one professor? (Btw in the second year he didn't really had a family so...)

Albus Dumbledore trust Snape more than any of the other professors at Hogwarts
That's true in a way. I believe AD trust in Snape is different then the others. At least on some level.
He trusted Hagrid a lot but one could make the argument that Snape was entrusted with more dangerous information and deeper, larger secrets.
It’s the reason he never got the defensive against dark arts because everyone who has that role either dies or has to leave at the end of the year that’s why he wanted
Umm yeah even MCgonnogal
It's because Dumbledore knew Snape's weakness
Snape is the MVP and the key to Voldemort downfall
He was still a dick tho
The way harry was noting every word snape says is so damn cute😂😂
😂
It always made me mad harry doesnt just say i was "taking notes" proving that he was in fact paying attention.
He wouldn't have cared, he was too deadlocked in his hatred for James that he projected on Harry.
I like to imagine he kept them like he kept Ron's drawings
Thank you so much, this is the only Snape scenepack with ALL of the scenes WITHOUT editing I can found, I need it for my edit❤❤thank you!!
Omg !! Thank you so much 🙌🏻❤️ good work for your edits 🥰
@@RebelliousJack_2 I'll post the edit soon, I'm now exporting it on CapCut😄
Cool 😍
You're on fire.
Snape: Why thank you.
Yes he wouldn't say that but I was just imagining it was me.
Its amazing that Snape's appearances in the movie reduced as the series went on but the impact just kept getting bigger and bigger
because they made it less about the school
classes also were not shown, same goes for Minerva
I believe he had more scenes in the later movies though? I heard in all the movies combined he had 43 minutes of screen time. Only a few minutes in the first few, nearly 10 minutes in the last.

Allan Rickman who played Severus Snape was the best actor in the Harry Potter movies. I can't imagine any other actor playing this part better, he was brilliant.
Rickman was one of the best actors of his generation. If you haven’t seen him in “Something the Lord Made” it is a masterpiece you will enjoy.

Well... now we'll probably have another one to compare 😂😂😂😂😂😂

@@bryana50cents16omg I love that movie 😭
I love the way he would say potter
Alan Rickman as Le Shérif de Nottingham was the villain I thought Snape was in 2001
When snape died I cried.
Me too 😮💨😔
Can't say I cried but it was a sad day.
@@xtreme3353 I Guess that is just me turning into a nerd. I really liked his character
@@victoriouschristine5306 I did too lol. And you're fine I cried over other people so I don't judge.
Who didn't
The genius of Alan's performance is that his every move is precise yet dramatic, so snape is like a black panther or a crow.
shame. because the animal 'bat' was the describing word.
Best thing is, in the books, Snape was described as somewhat ugly and sour. But in the movies, Alan Rickman made Snape attractive and handsome in so many ways.
He could make me straight from my lesbianess
It's the robes & that gorgeous hair of his!
I know right? I love his movie version sm and so attractive
@TheGrillCheeseFanatic. Alan Rickman had the most seductive male voice I have ever heard.
@@libbyworkman3459 oh most definitely agree with you!
Severus is just the best character of the whole story. Thanks, Alan. You are still missed.

Best Alan Rickman Role EVER!!
0:05 Harry’s scar gave pain not because of Snape, but Quirrell’s nape
And Snape noticed it!! Smart man
Snape was onto Quirrell from the start.
Snape is one of my favorite characters. I understand he loves Lily, protect and saves Harry.
This scene is hilarious 24:59-25:16 🤣. Alan Rickman was such a great actor. He didnt have to try hard to make us laugh in this scene.
