You gotta be joking, I offer & ebay still exist? I left EBay back in 2013 because too many scam buyers claiming "not as described" claims. EBay always sides with buyers even when you have proof of authenticity. Since the emergence of face book market place and what not platforms , I have weeded out scammers and do way better business on these platforms.
I've been scammed a couple of times and it is infuriating. eBay is not a lot of help. But for me, a retired grandmother on SS, it can be financially devastating. There are some resellers that could truly suffer a setback with this type of fraud. It's not like I'm raking it in. Just trying to make enough to get by. You know, like buying groceries and paying the electric bill.
Same for me. I was scammed out of a very small amount but it made me mad enough to fight it. It took some back and forth appealing and photos. I even got a signed statement and a copy of the USPS gps tracking of the delivery. I was just about to go file a police report to send to ebay. They finally reevaluated and sided in my favor. It was only less than 15 dollars, but I'm a stubborn old b and don't like being screwed over. The sad part of it is that that ebayer still has his account.
Absolutely INSANE.. I really hope (for all of us sellers sake) that ebay steps up to the plate on this one....

Kevin....we live 30 min from DeKalb in Illinois and we are fairly certain based on your description that the culprits may be students from NIU, Northern Illinois University, which is in DeKalb. They are a MAJOR university in the Rockford/Chicago suburbs. Maybe reach out to their student affairs office or IT dept, as someone else suggested. If we can help, please reach out. We are resellers for 20 years on eBay and THIS NEEDS TO STOP!

@@panchonelson3573 You still have to accept a return even when you have no returns under specific criteria. Additionally, when you have no returns and they open a not as described. You loose the option to give a partial refund (refund tool). So please make sure you have your information correct before suggesting things.
I have no returns policy and it doesn't matter. Ebay lets buyers get away with this by letting people say things are not as listed and enforce the refunds. Scammers also love to cancel orders while in transit. Have had forced returns not having the real item returned as well. All you can do is appeal if they side. I've won appeals and lost appeals. First year in business I lost an expensive car part to this.kind of theft. Sent me a remote control car in return.
With you saying it is coming from a college set up a meeting with the chancellor and let them use their IT team to get to the bottom of it. On a college campus it is pretty easy to track what student ordered it and this could result in the getting suspended due to the college's rules Making sure buyers are happy is great, but let's use some common sense when a buyer is abusing the system instead of acting like an AI Bot that cannot think for itself.
I was going to say the same thing. Also, could set up a meeting with the Fraternity chairman or board. I believe that members have to follow a code of conduct. I get they are college students but they are part of the future of our Country and they need to understand that they are hurting small business owners.
eBay did the same with an issue I had with a scammer. They were initially refunded right away even though I had proof that I was scammed. They did refund me after I appealed and quickly won so I was pleased. Just a bit more leg work on my end. I understand they have a difficult time keeping up with the numerous scum out there that make a living stealing from others. It’s a never ending task but they need to come down HARD on these people when able to start to deter some of this nonsense.

You need to take the unopened package to the police. This is mail fraud. It is HIGHLY illegal to commit fraud through the U.S. mail. Get this guy arrested.

Definitely know your frustration. Grandma got scammed last week. Ebay kept telling her they saw that the Ebay buyer was a scammer and she "would not lose her funds" WELL SHE LOST HER FUNDS, AND HER ITEM AND EBAY EVEN CHARGED HER A FEE FOR THE CASE. The scammer saw that he could not get money from Ebay so he went outside of Ebay for the money. So this scammer kept grandma's comic book, kept her money and he is still on Ebay. When she complained to Ebay, they just told her "it is beyond our control" ; "it is a Seller's experience" and nothing can be done!!!!! They DID NOT even let her Dispute or file an Appeal!!!! This is ridiculous. If there are no Sellers then there are no buyers. Ebay Must support the Sellers ; especially Sellers who are long term and good sellers. We should be able to disclose these Ebay scammers to each other if Ebay is NOT going to help the Seller who is trying to get by selling on Ebay.
I think you all did good by posting about this and we thank you. As resellers it's good to be aware of all the scams out there. Btw I have some beanies and diecast cars that I haven't listed yet but I don't mind them going to a child in need instead so I'll try to send to your friend this week. Thanks for the vid. 🙂
Just from previous postal employee problems I have learned you have to call POSTAL LAW ENFORCEMENT. NOT the post office. Try that and see what they say. Especially the reusing of the postage. Ebay would probably cooperate with an investigation.
@@debbiefreeman9481 no law enforcement. I talked to them when a postal worker was giving my mail to neighbors to rip up and put in my box. the neighbor she was buddies with stole my mailbox and destroyed it. I got the info who to call from a former employee at post office. Inspectors do nothing.
i appreciate you sharing this with us. I will not send any purchase to Northern Illinois University, its not worth promoting this type of behavior, risking my hard earned money and reputation. I truly hope you get the resolution from all parties involved that you deserve.
I had a small return on a two-card shipment of Pokemon cards. The buyer said they didn't get one of the cards, the problem is the two cards were in the same package with the same tracking. EBay sided with the buyer and I got a double hit on my account, item not received and late shippment.
Thank you for disclosing general location, to help protect sellers, scammers are malicious , low people - with so much need in the world for good people to do good works, they choose to be the antithesis of that. Ebay, Post office and the University need to step up. Yes, you should have made this video, sorry for those who were victims. I have past experience with fraternities, none of it was positive, I'll leave it at that.
It’s theft…..we all pay for it…thanks for the trying to resolve it. It takes time and energy that most won’t spend. That’s what they are counting on….sorry you have to deal with this, it’s not just wrong, it probably feels a bit violating.
It’s definitely a USPS issue since 9/11. What if what was sent hurt a postal worker in transit, what if it hurt your family member. I’ve seen flipping junks 2 videos…at the very least USPS should have flagged the package because they were leaking. But the feedback is borderline harassment & eBay should address it. I don’t care if it’s a “prank”.
There is always an option, the packages can be fingerprinted and the children need to learn there are ramifications to their actions. i was selling pre 2010, just things around the house, and someone sent me back a box of sand on a $50 item.
It's not the end of the world, but when no one stands up to these scammers, havoc rains on all of us. We have a bar in our neighborhood playing loud and ubscene music you can hear 3 blocks away in your house. We as a neighborhood are standing up to this bully and he is going loose his liquor license. Things like this need to be talked about enabling people who are afraid to stand up will be encouraged to have strength
Wick at Flipping Junk's package was a lot worse than carrots! It's so strange spending the money to ship these gross packages when they are looking to get free items. I don't understand it! Thank you for getting this info out to everyone and trying to remedy it!
I live 5 minutes from NIU. Is this buyer from the Dekalb area? At the top of my listings, I have created a list of bad buyers and I have noticed that my issues have gone down. Most people don't want to see their eBay handle on that list. I also have received Thank You emails from sellers so they can add those bidders to their block list. Ebay needs to fix a lot of issues and the feedback system needs to be at the top of the list. Long story short on that is sellers need to be able to leave negative feedback on a bad buyer/bidder. Give some power back to sellers.
I have had mixed results with first time buyer. The one problem was a buyer returning an electronic device claiming it did not work. They sent me back a similar but not exact item. Clearly they bought mine to replace their broken one and sent me back their old one. Ebay would have never sided with me so I took the lose and blocked his account. We need a "DO NOT SELL" list. A list of scam buyers so we block them before it happens. Of course one issue is that they open and close accounts daily.
I’ve had people say that they haven’t received the item and they had but wanted it sent to a different address. Oh well. Only one thing they got the money back and kept the item.
Had a buyer try to scam me and their address was a church. eBay helped me resolve, but then the buyer tried to leave me a nasty review instead of accepting a free return.
Kevin, try this…… try to determine the specific fraternity/sorority (by using your buyer’s address), then google the national office of that organization. Send a written complaint or explanation of the situation to that office with a cc to the president of UNI & directly to the president of the local fraternity. That may bring some attention these kids don’t want. Some college kids think they are “cute” & so much smarter to the rest of the world!
But are these multiple addresses located at the same university? Or in that same general area? Because there should be a postal fraud inspector for the area.
If the packages are being sent through USPS I would think it would be mail fraud which is a Federal offense. Something surely could/should be done. Sorry to hear this is happening but hooray for you working on ending it and best of luck in your efforts.
Dear Kevin, Thank you so much for the heads up, and also for giving us an idea of what addresses to be wary of. I have had quite a few first time buyers, more than in the past, and all of them so far, were reputable and great to work with. But I certainly don't sell on the scale that you do. If I had to guess, the majority of sellers on Ebay are like me, just making a little extra to cover basic needs...and a scam like this really hurts very small sellers. I wonder if that matters to people who are scammers, and well, to use the old fashioned word, thieves

I have a question, the other resellers you have spoken with about this particular scam, to make some sort of connection… I’m wondering are they getting also receiving rotten carrots or rotting food like you did?
Personally, I wouldn’t have opened it in your cabin. I would’ve done outside, wearing a mask and gloves. You don’t know what some sicko might send. Could’ve been a lot worse.
I hope you and other sellers are no longer scammed. Maybe create a blacklist site. A list with account and address with feed back . Only cuz the scammer will probably close the account but not move from the address.
Reject/cancel bids from 1st time buyers and block anyone with negative feedback. Thus check bidder's history cancel bad bidders. They will get pissed off and quit once everyone rejects them over time.

I block everyone that returns and causes issues! It’s helped me a lot as it used to be bad and no help from eBay! Just post their username so we can all block ..
I sold 2 DVDs. The buyer opened a return. They said they watched the movies and decided they didn't like them. Ebay stood by the buyer. Ebay said because i had automatic approval for returns I was out of luck. I told them i was not a rental store. I messaged and called and spoke to a rep at Ebay and they still backed the buyer. I ended up refunding minus the shipping when it came back.
I BLOCK anyone who scams or is ignorant in counter offers😂 no loss to me. Actually it's a BIG GAIN. People like that need to be handled with iron fists 👊
I only had fraudulent returns or chargebacks and i won mostly ones when I used to sell electronics. I am now only dealing with clothing and I'm free of headaches and way better. Returns don't bother me anymore when i have. I just move on
I'm sure already mentioned. If you find the party responsible for this, couldn't it be a mail fraud issue? Also, is someone from another country piggybacking on the college IP address? I think this is a great issue for you to follow! As you say how many other sellers has this person hurt?
many are saying to Boycott Ebay for 48 hours; drop all promotions to the basic for 60 days if they don't care about the mom and pop Ebay Seller and allow scammers to rip them off
My daughter has been hacked with people using her photos and just a day ago was messaged by a regular buyer that someone was on facebook pretending to be her!
I live in NY and there are a LOT of younger generation kids that are adamantly against resellers....and especially with TH-cam resellers....you are on the right track....gen x and older are more friendly and supportive to TH-cam resellers and resellers in general. At least in our area. We have a large, close knit group here and we all notice the same attitudes up here...
Never had this problem, but I have had the people who report items as not delivered when the tracking shows it still in transit. Lost money on that several times.
Perhaps the IP address tied to a massive illegal reselling operation. All of those smash and grabs and so on and resell on eBay mercari and who knows where else.
i have a bag of beanie babies i got for practically nothing at a yard sale last summer , the woman insisted i take them.. i will ship those out tomorrow, they should make it by Friday or Saturday. The kids will love them , they are all in great condition and ive been looking for something exactly like this to re home them anyway. Take it or leave it advice..your playing their game and they are getting the last laugh. Dont give them what they are wanting.. Attention and this will all go away , i get it , its hard not to. When it comes to IP addresses, someone that really knows how ,can make it look like it came from anywhere. If it is this University they are probably using the library or any number of locations on campus and it would be virtually impossible to trace it to an individual who may not even be a student.
Maybe you could report this to the internet provider for the college on the basis of cyber crimes, i know of a house of college boys who had their internet cut off because someone at the house was downloading porn
Write to the presidents of their sorority/fraternity. Clearly, whomever is doing this to you is being PROTECTED for one reason or another. Also, have you blocked this buyer multiple times or are there multiple buyers???
So this is coming from "college kids" makes it even more lousy! The post office, e-bay and the university should all come down hard. If from greek houses they should be turned into national as well. This is horrible!

Ebay seems to only care about the Buyers experience and sellers just have to lump it I have been selling on Ebay for over 18 years and we sell brand new items, we have had broken stuff returned, empty boxes and completely different items, and the most we can do is refund 50% and sometime s the buyer rejects this and Ebay most of the time find in their favour we are just told this is the costs of doing business even though it is clear that it is theft / fraud, and if it was on one of our websites or amazon we can not refund or refund 20% on Amazon this needs to be addressed as it bugs so many sellers great video and hope that buyer gets banned ebay would be better without people like him on it I would have not open the parcel in case it is harmful substance

The former eBay employees were punished for their behavior, as they should have been. I guess being born in the same town as Andy Griffith and being raised watching his show, I come from the viewpoint of, "Nip it, Nip it in the Bud." Obviously, in both cases, bad behavior was allowed to blossom early on and grew out of control.
Raunchy monologs and songs from our long ago past: For me, it was the John Valby song: Eat Bite from the Album: American Troubadour. Another is the Andrew Dice Clay monolog about standing in line at the bank. What we chose to learn/memorize as young teens or young adults, that makes such an impression, that it is still have running around in our minds several decades later.

I stand by what I said on your video months ago talking about how Ebay ' making small changes " when they were reaching out to sellers to make improvements and then I said they were only making changes to benefit themselves, not sellers . That's why people have stopped or new sellers go somewhere else because they do NOT have sellers interest or protection in mind , now Ebay is just getting worse, heard other sellers ticked now about not being able to remove wrongful negative feedback , resulting in their rating ,keep going Ebay ,what's next ??
This scammer (like many of them) had a zero or a one as their feedback score. I noticed several sellers putting things in their listings for zeros or ones not to bid.
Believe it or not, majority of scammers are buyers/hobby sellers who’ve had active accounts for some time. Just my observation from selling for 15 years now.
TFS..I think the school will take this seriously. This is a crime and could contain contaminants that could hurt someone in the future. You have a name...the school needs to take action and call the police and do a police report for federal crime with USPS. Thank you for protecting the rest of us!

Contact the national head of the fraternity, and also see if there is a local attorney (or someone important) to you who is a member. That may help take care of the issue. I suspect former members of the frat won't want to put up with that.
Thanks for the video. This is very important and needs to be addressed. I do not take returns so maybe I am a little safer but still see it coming my why sooner or later. Maybe all sellers should take off returns (not realistic) as you can't drink from a dry well. LOL
I just have no words. I’m really sorry you have to waste your time dealing with this. I would go to the post office and tell them you are no longer going to receive packages from that address. This time it’s rotten carrots, next time it could be something worse. I saw someone suggest reaching out to the college. I would do that as well. I really hope this issue gets resolved for you. No one trying to make a living deserves this, especially you. Also, I just happen to have some Beanie Babies I was going to list myself, but I will send them out to your friend tomorrow.
It hasn’t happened to me, I’ve only been selling 4 months. But I’m in an eBay group called eBay sellers and dealing with dirty buyers. They have so many stories and most don’t get a proper response. So it’s a lot of more than 5.

If the scam is in fact coming from a fraternity/sorority....the national headquarters for them can and should be notified.
The schools don't care. That has happened to Ralliroots and another seller. Schools do not care, nor will investigate

The Chancellor would not get involved with this and the student would most likely be protected under FERPA..

It’s definitely a USPS issue since 9/11. What if what was sent hurt a postal worker in transit, what if it hurt your family member. I’ve seen flipping junks 2 videos…at the very least USPS should have flagged the package because they were leaking. But the feedback is borderline harassment & eBay should address it.
I don’t care if it’s a “prank”.
There is always an option, the packages can be fingerprinted and the children need to learn there are ramifications to their actions.
i was selling pre 2010, just things around the house, and someone sent me back a box of sand on a $50 item.
It's not the end of the world, but when no one stands up to these scammers, havoc rains on all of us. We have a bar in our neighborhood playing loud and ubscene music you can hear 3 blocks away in your house. We as a neighborhood are standing up to this bully and he is going loose his liquor license. Things like this need to be talked about enabling people who are afraid to stand up will be encouraged to have strength
If he "looses " his license...he will simply tighten it up....I hope he loses his license....
Wick at Flipping Junk's package was a lot worse than carrots! It's so strange spending the money to ship these gross packages when they are looking to get free items. I don't understand it!

They don't pay to ship the carrots or whatever. Ebay makes the seller pay for returns at the Priority rate.
I live 5 minutes from NIU. Is this buyer from the Dekalb area? At the top of my listings, I have created a list of bad buyers and I have noticed that my issues have gone down. Most people don't want to see their eBay handle on that list. I also have received Thank You emails from sellers so they can add those bidders to their block list. Ebay needs to fix a lot of issues and the feedback system needs to be at the top of the list. Long story short on that is sellers need to be able to leave negative feedback on a bad buyer/bidder. Give some power back to sellers.

I have had mixed results with first time buyer. The one problem was a buyer returning an electronic device claiming it did not work. They sent me back a similar but not exact item. Clearly they bought mine to replace their broken one and sent me back their old one. Ebay would have never sided with me so I took the lose and blocked his account. We need a "DO NOT SELL" list. A list of scam buyers so we block them before it happens. Of course one issue is that they open and close accounts daily.
A buyer messaged me to cancel a $1500 order that was already in transit. I told them I would call the police and scared the crap of them.

I’ve had people say that they haven’t received the item and they had but wanted it sent to a different address. Oh well. Only one thing they got the money back and kept the item.
Had a buyer try to scam me and their address was a church. eBay helped me resolve, but then the buyer tried to leave me a nasty review instead of accepting a free return.
Kevin, try this…… try to determine the specific fraternity/sorority (by using your buyer’s address), then google the national office of that organization. Send a written complaint or explanation of the situation to that office with a cc to the president of UNI & directly to the president of the local fraternity. That may bring some attention these kids don’t want. Some college kids think they are “cute” & so much smarter to the rest of the world!

But are these multiple addresses located at the same university? Or in that same general area? Because there should be a postal fraud inspector for the area.
If the packages are being sent through USPS I would think it would be mail fraud which is a Federal offense. Something surely could/should be done. Sorry to hear this is happening but hooray for you working on ending it and best of luck in your efforts.

Dear Kevin, Thank you so much for the heads up, and also for giving us an idea of what addresses to be wary of. I have had quite a few first time buyers, more than in the past, and all of them so far, were reputable and great to work with. But I certainly don't sell on the scale that you do. If I had to guess, the majority of sellers on Ebay are like me, just making a little extra to cover basic needs...and a scam like this really hurts very small sellers. I wonder if that matters to people who are scammers, and well, to use the old fashioned word, thieves

Personally, I wouldn’t have opened it in your cabin. I would’ve done outside, wearing a mask and gloves. You don’t know what some sicko might send. Could’ve been a lot worse.
So gross! I'm so glad that scams don't happen very often, but it is so enraging when they do.
I hope you and other sellers are no longer scammed. Maybe create a blacklist site. A list with account and address with feed back . Only cuz the scammer will probably close the account but not move from the address.

Reject/cancel bids from 1st time buyers and block anyone with negative feedback. Thus check bidder's history cancel bad bidders. They will get pissed off and quit once everyone rejects them over time.

I block everyone that returns and causes issues! It’s helped me a lot as it used to be bad and no help from eBay! Just post their username so we can all block ..
It won’t do any good as they open a new account each time.
I sold 2 DVDs. The buyer opened a return. They said they watched the movies and decided they didn't like them. Ebay stood by the buyer. Ebay said because i had automatic approval for returns I was out of luck. I told them i was not a rental store. I messaged and called and spoke to a rep at Ebay and they still backed the buyer.
I ended up refunding minus the shipping when it came back.
And that could be done with other media too. We are at their mercy, but it does cost them shipping.
Yall are better people than me, i'm paying visits to those addresses especially if they are within a couple hours away lol
I BLOCK anyone who scams or is ignorant in counter offers😂 no loss to me. Actually it's a BIG GAIN. People like that need to be handled with iron fists 👊
I only had fraudulent returns or chargebacks and i won mostly ones when I used to sell electronics. I am now only dealing with clothing and I'm free of headaches and way better. Returns don't bother me anymore when i have. I just move on
You shouldn’t keep that package inside. You never know if something flammable is in there. Keep it outdoors maybe.
Why don't resellers just give these buyers info out, I would. Just bombard them with emails and whatever.
I'm sure already mentioned. If you find the party responsible for this, couldn't it be a mail fraud issue? Also, is someone from another country piggybacking on the college IP address? I think this is a great issue for you to follow! As you say how many other sellers has this person hurt?

My daughter has been hacked with people using her photos and just a day ago was messaged by a regular buyer that someone was on facebook pretending to be her!
I live in NY and there are a LOT of younger generation kids that are adamantly against resellers....and especially with TH-cam resellers....you are on the right track....gen x and older are more friendly and supportive to TH-cam resellers and resellers in general. At least in our area. We have a large, close knit group here and we all notice the same attitudes up here...

Never had this problem, but I have had the people who report items as not delivered when the tracking shows it still in transit. Lost money on that several times.
This issue with EBay will become worst because of AI and the lack of eBay being “nimble”, as Jaime says.
Perhaps the IP address tied to a massive illegal reselling operation. All of those smash and grabs and so on and resell on eBay mercari and who knows where else.
It is ashame that honest first time buys will be scared away.
i have a bag of beanie babies i got for practically nothing at a yard sale last summer , the woman insisted i take them.. i will ship those out tomorrow, they should make it by Friday or Saturday. The kids will love them , they are all in great condition and ive been looking for something exactly like this to re home them anyway. Take it or leave it advice..your playing their game and they are getting the last laugh. Dont give them what they are wanting.. Attention and this will all go away , i get it , its hard not to. When it comes to IP addresses, someone that really knows how ,can make it look like it came from anywhere. If it is this University they are probably using the library or any number of locations on campus and it would be virtually impossible to trace it to an individual who may not even be a student.
Maybe you could report this to the internet provider for the college on the basis of cyber crimes, i know of a house of college boys who had their internet cut off because someone at the house was downloading porn
Ebay does not have a good track record backing up good sellers.....since the beginning. I've fought with them a few times myself. Good luck!
Write to the presidents of their sorority/fraternity. Clearly, whomever is doing this to you is being PROTECTED for one reason or another. Also, have you blocked this buyer multiple times or are there multiple buyers???

I am from Illinois and agree it’s probably a bunch at NIU doing this and if I were you I would contact the university and report the addresses.
It's likely that some of these young persons have a challenge going on as to see who can get the best or most expensive item for free,
All of my listings are 'no o returns accepted ' and EBAY will still return the money to whiney buyers. Ill never offer returns on EBay.
If you want to be a Top Rated Seller (which helps in the listing standings, etc.) you have to offer returns.
And if they say item doesn't match description you have to accept the return.
So this is coming from "college kids" makes it even more lousy! The post office, e-bay and the university should all come down hard. If from greek houses they should be turned into national as well. This is horrible!
My wife and I got scammed on an item from China through Amazon. Wife didn’t notice at first where it was going to be shipped from. Item never arrived.

I have been selling on Ebay for over 18 years and we sell brand new items, we have had broken stuff returned, empty boxes and completely different items, and the most we can do is refund 50% and sometime s the buyer rejects this and Ebay most of the time find in their favour
we are just told this is the costs of doing business even though it is clear that it is theft / fraud, and if it was on one of our websites or amazon we can not refund or refund 20% on Amazon
this needs to be addressed as it bugs so many sellers

The former eBay employees were punished for their behavior, as they should have been. I guess being born in the same town as Andy Griffith and being raised watching his show, I come from the viewpoint of, "Nip it, Nip it in the Bud." Obviously, in both cases, bad behavior was allowed to blossom early on and grew out of control.
Raunchy monologs and songs from our long ago past: For me, it was the John Valby song: Eat Bite from the Album: American Troubadour. Another is the Andrew Dice Clay monolog about standing in line at the bank. What we chose to learn/memorize as young teens or young adults, that makes such an impression, that it is still have running around in our minds several decades later.
As a reseller on EBay you can set your account to not accept bids on buyers with feedback under 5.

I stand by what I said on your video months ago talking about how Ebay ' making small changes " when they were reaching out to sellers to make improvements and then I said they were only making changes to benefit themselves, not sellers . That's why people have stopped or new sellers go somewhere else because they do NOT have sellers interest or protection in mind , now Ebay is just getting worse, heard other sellers ticked now about not being able to remove wrongful negative feedback , resulting in their rating ,keep going Ebay ,what's next ??

This scammer (like many of them) had a zero or a one as their feedback score. I noticed several sellers putting things in their listings for zeros or ones not to bid.
Believe it or not, majority of scammers are buyers/hobby sellers who’ve had active accounts for some time. Just my observation from selling for 15 years now.
TFS..I think the school will take this seriously. This is a crime and could contain contaminants that could hurt someone in the future. You have a name...the school needs to take action and call the police and do a police report for federal crime with USPS. Thank you for protecting the rest of us!

The post office does free package pickup, you just have to schedule it one day in advance.

Contact the national head of the fraternity, and also see if there is a local attorney (or someone important) to you who is a member. That may help take care of the issue. I suspect former members of the frat won't want to put up with that.

This is a severe case of fraud that affects so many sellers. You shoukd put the persons name in here, so we sellers can take measures to block them.

Thanks for the video. This is very important and needs to be addressed. I do not take returns so maybe I am a little safer but still see it coming my why sooner or later. Maybe all sellers should take off returns (not realistic) as you can't drink from a dry well. LOL
I don’t understand why seller can’t give buyers negative feedback but buyer can give seller negative feedback.
I just have no words. I’m really sorry you have to waste your time dealing with this. I would go to the post office and tell them you are no longer going to receive packages from that address. This time it’s rotten carrots, next time it could be something worse. I saw someone suggest reaching out to the college. I would do that as well. I really hope this issue gets resolved for you. No one trying to make a living deserves this, especially you.

It hasn’t happened to me, I’ve only been selling 4 months. But I’m in an eBay group called eBay sellers and dealing with dirty buyers. They have so many stories and most don’t get a proper response. So it’s a lot of more than 5.
I have said for some time ebay is all about the buyer not the seller. I have been on ebay since 1991 and not sold for over 10 years.
