Rebuilding stock after my worst winter of beekeeping

After losing approximately 70% of my hives this winter, I am using fresh VSH Queen genetics from Black Mountain Honey to restart from scratch. Today I am introducing my first 4 mated Queens to the doner hives and will open them in a future video. Thanks for watching.

Thanks so much for posting and look forward to the updates. At the moment I only have two fairly big colonies, so will try to do a couple of splits in a month or so (if I don't, they will swarm!). Both my queens are daughters of one of Laurence's BMH Buckfast's, they seem very calm. Cheers

Why can't you speak in your videos , would be far more interesting ... nothing worse than having to read your findings..

@chrislister6161 I would but my voice would be far worse. Too many youtubers destroy their education videos by talking all over them instead of allowing the viewer to live through the experience.
