Kid has a tyler childers heart for country music. You can hear that crack in his voice from the emotion. You keep going man, you have a gift that most would do anything for. Keep it up
Grew up in South Charleston, now live in Florida. Spent summers at a rope swing on the Coal River in St Albans, jumping off a bridge and sitting in the falls. Enjoying you music Logan.
Unfortunately now they have that section of the river blocked off where you can't go down there anymore. I know the falls you were talking about rock falls with the big holes like a hot tub 😅 jumped off the same bridge. they closed it down cuz too many people were drinking and drowning. I myself as all so moved away
Man, I caught my first fish in coal river just above upper falls when I was like six or seven , used to hang out and party at upper and lower falls as a teen , also moved to florida 35 years ago . Been playin music longer than that .Just have to say I really love your music logan , you sing from the heart , makes me miss the hills . Keep on singin and writing you have a great career in front of you!
The great storytellers of generations past have made their way back into the souls of today to keep us remembering when life was of a simpler time when traditions, values, and morals made a longstanding impression on the youth they were raising. I myself just found Logans music but what a fan i am.
Lived on the Coal River until the age of 18. Did up a story about it on wvpr. Seemed to me the jobs were out by the time I was old enough and the drugs had drown us like River rats in a bucket. Wish it wasn't too much of a struggle to stay.
I can't stop listening to Logan. I loved in the mnts of Tennessee for 11 years in a small little town that had coke ovens and there was nothing for anyone to do so they did meth. Alot of good people but it's like he said those mountains were cursed. Place where if somebody was mad at you they would just burn your trailer down. There were lots of good people there though.
"And the souls dance upon the sands where that old river winds" 😭 The lyrics to this song are hauntingly beautiful. I can't get over the imagery, I can picture this river perfectly. Everything I've heard by Logan has been moving. Im super excited for his future!!!
Love this young man's sound. Great talent for someone so young. These songs about the mines remind me of my great grandpa. Loved hearing his mining stories from around Logan County WV.
Watching and listening to Logan and his amazing talent reminds me of the feeling I got the very first time I saw Bob Dylan on TV many years ago when he was just beginning his journey to superstardom. Logan's journey is about to begin!
OMG! Put an album out now!!! Best song I’ve heard so far. He’s really letting his voice happen the way it should!!! Can’t wait to here him in a year or so. I’d love to follow his voice and lyrics through the years❤️
For being awful young in his years, he sure does have a way with words and sings with a lot of passion! Hope he stays true to this sound as the fame comes his way, as I'm sure it's bound to be any day now!
This is absolutely soulful and bittersweet, it’s everything and I support you! I just became a widow and I had to come back here to Boone County… and it feels so empty… I could really feel your emotion while singing and playing. You’re going to be something one day!!! #justiceforKentRedman
I saw his uncle Arlo McKinley at Headliners in Louisville, KY recently and must say that although I'm cemented in fact that Arlo will forever and always be my favorite musician hands-down, Logan is the only one I think can hold a candle to Arlo and he wins forever №2 position. He's fulla potential and heart and it'd be nice to see him and Arlo 2gether more often...💭🛣👥🗣🎙📻🎼🎫

Oh coal river won’t you wash my bones away
I’m slaving for the company and I can’t get any pay
Well mining coal ain’t a way to make a life
And I can’t feed the hunger of 3 kids and a wife
Now the hollers are empty and the company’s left town
And there ain’t no more mountains for coal river to bend around
Well the curses in these mountains have taken many of our kind
And their souls dance upon the sand where that old river winds
Oh lord won’t you take me before that old mountain does
A life in these hills ain’t what I thought it was
Coal river cuts the land of where I’ll rest my soul
Through there’s barren mountains my story will be told
Im headed for a pine box, my mining days are through
Boy don’t trust these mountains, for a curse they’ll put on you
So oh coal river won’t you wash my bones away
I’m slaving for the company and I can’t get any pay
Well mining coal ain’t a way to make a life
And I can’t feed the hunger of 3 kids and a wife
Now the hollers are empty and the company’s left town
And there ain’t no more mountains for coal river to bend around
