If it IS tough, i promise you’ll get through it. How do I know? God wouldn’t put any weight on your shoulders that he knows you can’t handle. You will get through this. All it takes is a little patience because god doesn’t always answer your prayers right away. Only when the time is right.

Just remember that no matter what you've done, how far you've fallen, or how hopeless and unlovable you feel. You've never done anything or nor will you ever do anything so bad that God can't or won't welcome you home. Run away from Him, squander your inheritance, and sleep with the pigs in the mud if that's where your life goes... but just remember that whenever you've finally realized that home is where you should've been all along, He will welcome you back with open arms and all of Heaven will rejoice just for you.

Agree! This song makes me think of my grandpa and him fishing on a Sunday with my grandmother went to church by herself. I asked him, "Grandpa. Why don't you go to church?" and I'll never forget that he told me, "Baby, this is my church." Powerful then and powerful now. This song really touches my heart. ❤🙏 I think going to church is wonderful, but I also know that God is all around. The song encapsulates that message and that feeling that you never alone because God is always just a thought or prayer away. This is just as good as any hymnal I've ever sang.

Dad committed suicide when I was 15. Parents were separated and I went to visit on weekend and walked in and found him in his bathtub. Cut his neck&wrists. Dropped out of school. Got into drugs. Driving drunk. Didn't try to take my life but definitely lived careless. Was angry at God and avoided him for a long time. Broken home growing up. Lots of trauma. Then had a moment out on the water fishing. Yelled at God. Well he answered in a weird way. 13 years later I have a beautiful wife and run a business. Thank you Lord. God Is good always.

But when I started to sing harmony with the guys I just got too emotional and started to tear up. I'll keep trying till I make it and I'm 69. In the past few years there have been a lot of good people I knew that got addicted and they had such a great heart but couldn't get control and sometimes they would call me in the middle of the night sick and I talked them through it but it wasn't enough in the end but I think this song could have helped. I listen to it probably 10 times a day. My favorite song now.

I love this rendition. God isn't gone. He's making a come back soon. That's what this song speaks to me. This world is moving so fast, we all have different things that help us slow down. To heal. To really enjoy the small moments and appreciate what you have in life. "I don't know what they're saying, but it sounds like a hymm to me." That's called enjoying the beauty in all things and feeling it a soul level, to make peace with the past and not worry about the future. It's hard to find messages like that in music, but this is proof that we can still turn this world around if we can find God in the small, seemingly insignificant things of that we're being told everyday that no longer exists.

Dad committed suicide when I was 15. Parents were separated and I went to visit on weekend and walked in and found him in his bathtub. Cut his neck&wrists. Dropped out of school. Got into drugs. Driving drunk. Didn't try to take my life but definitely lived careless. Was angry at God and avoided him for a long time. Broken home growing up. Lots of trauma. Then had a moment out on the water fishing. Yelled at God. Well he answered in a weird way. 13 years later I have a beautiful wife and run a business. Thank you Lord. God Is good always.
I lost two brothers, my dad, my grandfather and an uncle to suicide.. and sometimes I have lost myself I think.. life is a struggle and I am thankful to be living it thus far.. tunes like this surely help.. I reckon it's the little things and that's what this song has to teach us

But when I started to sing harmony with the guys I just got too emotional and started to tear up. I'll keep trying till I make it and I'm 69. I sent this video to my aunt and uncle who are 91 and 92 and they loved it. Thanks to the Lord Jesus Christ for bringing this to me.

This song got me in my soul.... then i read the comments as i listened and someone said they lost their 10 year old son to a brain tumor and they have now been 15 years sober and that made me cry and broke my heart. Now I'm feeling some kind of way about my life.

I got clean and sober 4 yrs ago this time around. I know for a fact I wouldn't have made it through the last few years knowing how much we've been lied to. I talk to God alot now, without even realizing it. I truly believe he's helped me accept me. The closest I feel to him is when I'm on the lake, or in the woods. To anyone out there struggling, just know you are good enough the way you are. Much love to all you strangers out there.

Im 38 yr old male from the Uk and stumbled across this on my homepage and it struck a cord. The simplicity moved me. We lack passion in the uk, its almost as if we are embarrassed by it.
