Nice! Perfectly done. For those who don't have a bezel press, I've had success by sandwiching the watch between two pieces of wood (short lengths of 2"x4") and stepping on it. Just put your heel on the wood and press down with a short, sharp motion. Clicks in just fine.
FINALLY! You figured out how to install the adhesive. Hallelujah! Dude, if I had to watch you ef it one one more time, I was gonna be on the next flight to Maui to beat you about the head. If you wanna do an even better job next time, try peeling the backing only halfway off the adhesive, fold it back and then stick one edge on, then continue to peel the backing off the rest of the way and boom, you're done. Then pop out the center portion. E.Z.-P.Z. Looks great BTW. Ugh, now I gotta drop some more $$$. 🤦🏻♂️

I was having problems popping off my bezel(my 1st mod YAYY) and after seeing you just push in with the tool and skip the knife part I did the same and it worked so well for me i almost wanted to do it again....maybe later depending how i do here THANK YOU!
I put some real deep scratches in my Turtle when I first tried taking the bezel off, luckily I've just picked up another turtle for another mod I'm doing so will be able to recase her and use the scratched one for a vintage build.

WOW I had a hell of a time trying to get the bezel off my PADI turtle, ended up sending it to someone after I gouged the case...the bezel I wanted to fit was a Revenge One. The new bezel wouldn't function and either the case or the bezel are out of spec. That insert looks great
I was fully expecting it to be a pain in the ass. I think the tape helped give it some grip so I could leverage it in there. Plus I didn't have to worry about the case so much. OR I got lucky :p. Thanks, Erik!
Good job. Looks good. I was psyched these were being made by lcbi. Now that they are out I don't have a mod project to use one on yet. Good choice on the coke bezel. It works good with your turtle and I don't think I've seen enough coke bezels.. Always Pepsi or batman.

I abused the shit out of my body growing up and well into my thirties I quit drinking and partying! I stopped drinking soda a few years ago and lost 20 lbs in a month. I have finally figured out what I can eat and what I cannot and limiting carbs and sugar has been tough but I am motivated! I grit out 100 pushups and 200 sit ups daily, still ride my road bike when it's not cold as balls and limited snacks to high protein only. I use to think you could eat anything and burn it off but that might be true if you are a high school wrestler or pro cyclist but just not true for mortals!
A word of advice....go to Harbor Freight and get a polymer plastic interior molding prybar kit. The thicker one is perfect for these bezels, and it cuts down on the risk of scratching it up. You'll have to pry hard, and it will test the prybar to the limit. But it's tough plastic. I use the other prybars in the kit to get the bezels off my Vostok Amphibias.

I love the Tudor Black Bay, but find the 41mm a little small for my wrist. Seiko Turtle is perfect, and I own two SRP's..... I would LOVE to see a mod where snowflake hands and a burgundy bezel insert is added.
Just swapped mine on my skx and after I couldn’t turn the bezel. I had to take it off like 8 times to finally get it to turn. I suggest DLW bezels. Their lume is on par with Seiko. My lcbi was a let down to be honest
My SKX Bezel was a pain in the ass to remove and I'm going to do it again in the next video lol. These new sapphire bezels have amazing lume. I have a DLW on my "Grand Uchin" mod. I'm quite familiar with their stuff.
Swapped the bezel on my Turtle for a coin edge. Darn thing is super stiff and tears up my fingers. Completely defeats the purpose of having a bezel if I can't turn it. What in the world? I tried to take it off using the little clam opener tool and ended up scratching the top polished metal. So disappointed with this coin edge bezel situation. How can I remove the bezel and is there something I should be doing before it goes back on?
How wide is the dial on that Turtle (without the chapter ring)? Is it the same 28.5 mm as on the SKX? That bezel insert, btw, looks really good. The design and the lettering fit the watch.
I haven't measured it but I'm quite sure that it is 28.5ish. It is flush against the edges of the 4R36. Thanks, man! I'm surprised at how well it all came out!

I modded my SKX009 with an NH36 two weeks ago (amongst other things before that) and shredded the hands lol. Replacements (OEM hands) came this week and I will finish the job tomorrow. In the meantime I had replaced the 6R15 in my SBDC051 successfully, so I'm confident I will do it proper this time with the SKX.

MTV Raps. I used to listen to most of the guys you mentioned from the West Coast (NWA, then the whole Deathrow lineup, Ice-T before that, Cube, Cypress, etc), plus also the more hardcore East Coast with groups like the Wu-Tang environment, the Gangstarr Foundation, Boot Camp Clik, Smiff n Wessun, Lost Boys, etc... too many to name. It was a great time. LMAO because of the "Yeaaaaah, Hell yeeaah" comment :D Still pumping the Chronic 2001 in my car (not a bad car hifi by any means, but not a boomin system), have to throw in a copy of the original Chronic from 92. All mods done: NH36, Coin Edge bezel from Dr. Seikostein, S-signed crown (not the snake, but the S with serifs) and an original SKX009 bezel insert I faded with eau de javel. Plus (which is no mod, but anyway) a new, rattly-ass original SKX bracelet... had bought the 009 on rubber strap and used to rock it on a Strapcode Oyster bracelet, which I don't like anymore. minitwatch It’s the 120 512 model. I’m in the minority of really digging the 120 case- and the 512 dial is so clean and vintage looking. I added a heavy coin bezel holding that glorious Seiko style sapphire insert🤩 Its so shiny and mesmerizing while keeping a true vintage vibe (wearing it on an OEM tropic rubber strap)- an original piece that micro brands could only dream of aspiring too....😎
