You said you have to be aware of opponent's weight. By weight what you actually mean is hitstun animation and hurtbox shape. The actual weight of the character doesn't matter during the first three hits of DB. They are set-weight, just like Nair1.

@@Spyder-Marth It's on purpose. Chroy have Marth's old DB window lengths from Smash 4 (post-buff in S4). They were trying to differentiate them but gave Marcina little to compensate.
Brother that has always been his best move. Maybe not logistically, but it has been. You have too many options at the finish. My preference has usually been ending with a down B for the multi stabs. Mostly cuz it looked cool, but honestly when you keep experimenting you start finding different setups from those. And each switch gives a different movement on the opponent. I’m not a pro, but in melee I played him for hours at 99 lives vs my friends In Hyrule castle…. It was glorious. But even today although a bit different I’ve never changed my mind on that being my primary gauge for how the fight for a 1v1 would go

Fun fact, ChRoy can delay this move between the hits for much longer than Marcina can, making it a lot more dangerous against drop shield reads.
Yeah I always wondered why they let Roy and Chrom have that and not Marth and Lucina. Could be an oversight.
