I was following a very restrictive anti histamine diet, but I recently discovered that drinking 16 ounces of celery juice every morning, as recommended by the Medical Medium’s book, has helped to improve my histamine intolerance symptoms in just two weeks. I noticed I can now eat small amounts of chocolate, raisins and a few other foods that had triggered symptoms before. I plan to continue with the celery juice, which has also improved my overall digestion. I mentioned this because perhaps this could benefit others. I don’t eat eggs, gluten, dairy, or bad fats.

I can’t believe you forgot coffee. I eliminated everything but continued to have problems until I finally eliminated coffee.

You were very lucky to have your doctors listen to you, because you're a doctor. Many people keep pushing for a reason and are told to take an antidepressant. We need big change in our medical industry. It's not health care, it's disease management. I think the % of people that have this is drastically higher. A lot of people that have gluten issues really have or eventually have these issues. I have progressed to the point of having to do meat only, beef, nothing long cooked or left over. I hope one day I can reintroduce some foods, but these would also be the same foods that caused the issue so doesn't really make sense. Many people don't notice until it's very severe and healing a leaky gut takes a long time. Tolerating a food isn't the same as proper human diet as Dr. Berry would say. People want to always go back to a "normal" diet. If that normal diet causes diseases, how is that normal?

I don’t think avoiding histamine foods is really a cure though

This is excellent. I went on the carnivore diet and had drastic results, yet hit a wall. Then I learned about the importance of DAOs and the need to kill of SIFO. I started taking DAO supplements (Zypan from Standard Process, Formula 3 Amylase from NESS) and a SIFO or candida killer (Undecylenic Acid Formula SF722 from Thorne). Huge difference, and I mean HUGE! Less than 24 hours and my inflammation all over my body shrunk massively. Woke up and looked like me again…urinated a river 2 times in 30 min upon waking. It was crazy! Planning on using Ancestral supplements kidney, organs and bone & marrow supplements as a maintenance once this gets under control. Can’t stress enough how helpful thes DAOs are. SIBO nearly had me hospitalized because I literally could not eat or drink anything, not even water because the pain would get to near kidney stone level and I would vomit. Carnivore diet helped tremendously to start and then this protocol is just pushing the healing even further.

I have been basically inflaming my body eating healthy! I have been trying to figure out for years my IBS triggers, anxiety, urgency, eye lids puffy, patches on my eyes area, constant watery eyes, swelling in my body after eating, boils, on and on. I have everyone of the symptoms except migraines. I was so exhausted mentally and physically going to specialist, getting so many tests, finally going to a functional doctor (that never talked about sibo, histamine intolerance!) which never helped heal me. I was just done! My life was my food and I had to move on. I decided I would just eat as healthy as I could and move on with my life. Eggs, avocado, strawberries, dark chocolate, mushrooms, canned tuna, lemon, limes, pumpkin, vinegars (daily with my salad), pineapple. After 3 years I was looking so aged, my nails, hair were dry brittle, anxiety was all the time and my IBS was worse than ever. I came across the histamine intolerance about 2 months ago and look up foods that are high in histamine and I was eating every single food because I was so limited in my food selections. I started the eliminating and the first week I could already see a difference. Thanks for the explanation, I have just been reading as much as I can and hope to find a doctor that I can go to that actual knows about histamine and mast cell in my area.

I have had histamine issues since I was ten. I have been on Benadryl all my life. Welts so on even my lips swelled I thought I would have to go to the ER Last year. Stress. Always had low blood pressure and now for a year I have high blood pressure. When I finally heard about this and did my homework I knew I found the way to a life without pain and illness everyday.

Doing a 72 hour fast (drink salt water for hydration) will actually force your body thru autophagy to eat the mast cells. For people who have MCAS doing a 72 Hr fast once a month you can go back to eating in moderation everything except what you’re genuinely allergic to. Truly a LIFE SAVER. There is only ONE research paper on this of science to prove it but the results from humans who fast and do this like myself is REAL 🎉🎉🎉🎉. More Doctors need to educate

Great video! I've noticed as well I can't eat bone broth and this explains why. Excellent reminder as well on how meditation and rest can be helpful with digestion. Thanks for all the useful information about histamine!
