I loved this concept! Great idea 😊 We're in the process of buying a home and in between family's houses, so right now, we have zero excess.... but excited to try this in the future!
I went from having 2 teenagers, a tween, 2 young children and a big dog to only 2 young children very suddenly. I continued to shop and cook the same way for a few years! I did not transition well. I have adjusted mostly but have a teenager who is in out out due to running away then coming back when things don't work out "out there." Changing grocery and cooking habits is actually quite hard.
I'm doing this for Jan 2024. I've been spending over $700/month for groceries for 2 adults an ld a toddler. Our pantry and freezer are stuffed. Time to eat what we have! Good job recording your experience!
Haha yes because we moved. However what I learned in the process was that with three teenagers waiting a month just means I will spend ten times the amount when I do go. Strangely I have found when I go every week I spend around $100 a week for a family of five. That is the opposite of what I have always been told.
@@JenniferLynnLife I was honestly shocked. I think it’s because I’m less likely to buy something because I always think “I can get it next week.” When I went less often I had the mindset of “I better get it because I won’t make it two weeks.”
i did that this and last week and now i have enough for 2 weeks and we get a new dog in 10 days so. I want a backup so i dont need to buy a lot when she comes to us next week
I spent a total of $89.72 before needing to do a big grocery haul again.

Glad to bring the idea to you! Thanks for watching.

I really enjoyed your video. I think it's fun to challenge ourselves and seeing other's ideas helps us use up our own random items. Well done 👍
Thanks so much!

Thanks!
I’m trying to reduce my freezer as well before the garden harvest comes in.

Interesting! I'd be curious if anyone else feels the same.

Good plan. Enjoy the pup!
Have you ever done a low buy?
For two people you shouldn’t need to go to the grocery store at all with the amount of food you have in the house.
I had to stop watching at the frozen dog lick tray.....it was just too over the top for me....otherwise a good video
VOTE DEMOCRAT AND THAT IS WHAT YOU GET - NO BUYING
