I think you did well on the crossing to Cranmere pool, from Black Hill, certainly a drier route than I took over Black Ridge! Did you look at the visitors book, two visits from me this year? Did you find the plastic tub with the book at Fur Tor?
I didn't open any books at Cranmere just nosed inside the locker box thing to see what was inside - two plastic tubs I think I remember plus the choccy I added lol
