    Thank you for this tutorial. I made the sleeve at the weekend and I am very happy with it. My partner now wants one as well. I am very much a beginner, so this is something I can add to my arsenal of things to make.

    I love it. I've always struggled to find cases for my laptop since it's 17" and the cases are really expensive. I'm going to try it in the future. Thank you so much.

    also stitching velcro down instead of relying on sticky back is needed, since the glue doesn't hold and it just comes right off the material. This should have been done prior to attaching any backing . It's hard now to use hand needle to stitch down and now hide the stitching.

    • @CraftyForHome
      @CraftyForHome  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, I agree. Using the sew-on hook and loop (Velcro or any brand) is better than the self-adhesive one for this project.

    Good tutorial, thanks! Used upholstery fabric for mine so i didn't need felt layer, but it turned out a little bit puffy because I couldn't top stitch the main part😅

    Thank tou Anna I will try to do it. Should I use a sewing machine or can I hand sew?

    • @CraftyForHome
      @CraftyForHome  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It is easy enough to hand sew as you only need to use a straight stitch for all edges and a ladder stitch (optional) to close the opening gap, it just take time longer than using a sewing machine to make one.

    so i would add to your pattern pieces, Cut one lining and one pouch OUT OF THE SAME pattern material. I didn't know so I cut 2 of the same for the pouch and 2 for the flap. Now I have the top of the pouch not matching the back of the flap. But I really don't care so long as my laptop is protected.

    • @CraftyForHome
      @CraftyForHome  ปีที่แล้ว

      It still looks fantastic, and it is still very useful. The laptop is protected, which is this sleeve's main purpose. Thank you for using the pattern from this video, and thank you for the suggestion. I appreciate it. Have a wonderful day.
