@@alishashay17 At the end of the last season she was unemployed. Maybe I jumped to conclusions, but by the way she acted and they conversation she had with Liv I just asumed she was fired.

Then she was offered a job at Fordham which is why she became a professor there but I think the next episode is gonna reveal that Rollins soon went back to NYPD & was promoted after moving to a different department.

I guess he was the dean of the division of Fordham or maybe the president of the university or something? I don't know, but it was definitely Carisi's doing because he was trying to get her to do something else that wasn't SVU. As for where her teaching background came from, no idea there

No surprised. When OC was transferred to peacock after the other shows were renewed early last year they needed some way to keep the other 2 shows involved with more international crimes. Flagship is high profile murders SVU has their jurisdiction but OC no longer on the schedule having Rollins as some liaise on cases like this seemed like their option
First she's written out of the show and now she's back, what's the deal? I get she's married to (the only-mediocre) ADA Carisi, but I never remembered Rollins to ever be pro- victim, she always had something negative to say about victims, unlike Benson!
