Checking the Gold Bug Pro with a 13” coil on some deep targets. These 19khz machines are a joy to hunt with and are very easy to use and super smooth s machines.
I have the Detech Ultimate 13" on my F19 and it is amazing! It's really good even in trashy areas and quite deep to boot.Very stable and a reasonble weight.I bought the one that is said to fit the F11,F22 and F44.I also use the same coil on my Goldbug Pro with the same results.
NEL and CORS coils for the Gold Bug are also correct for the F5, F19, F44, F22 and (AND A BIG MAYBE)Teknetics Alpha, Delta 4000, Gamma, 6000, Omega, 8000, EuroTek Pro, G2, MAYBE.. A guy might want to buy Ukrainian coils soon: US and Russian relations...
Have had my GB2 for 2 years, found a lot of non valuable things. I have the machine dialed in just not the prospecting spots I guess....I use the same boots :$

Yes, they are great performing machines.
I have the goldbug pro and love it it hits as deep as my Equinox 600 and has better separation
I have the Omega 8000 with a Nel Tornado, It's performance is about the same. They are excellent coin shooters in the 6-8 inch depth range.
I’ve used that combo. I have an 8000 as well. Fun machine.
I tried a 15" Fisher F5 coil on my gold bug pro. HEAVY! Coil was made for 13 KHZ I think, It barely detected a quarter at 13". not bad.
Yeah that seems about max for these machines.

That was a 12x13 Cors strike. Great rugged coil. Weight is acceptable. Not as light as detech 13” or NEL superfly.
