    I'm late to the party, but these videos are great! Something else you could do with the front pocket - add a zipper. I have seen inserts for the JPC 2.0 that are small zippers with hook and loop on both sides. This could make it a little easier to get into the pouch.

    Awesome man. Cool to create exactly what you want. A nylon sewing intro / equipment video might do well these days.

    Most under rated video on the tube. What material did you use?

      I don’t remember what I made this from. I mostly use 500-1000 denier cordura now

      Amazon or eBay. Just search for nylon or elastic webbing in whatever width you want.

    Any plans to make a minuteman/civilian equivalent of a TAPS system? Something that attached to a plate carrier and functions as a standalone chest rig?

    • @thriftyoperator637
      @thriftyoperator637  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Probably not that exactly. I’ve made three chest rig videos and all there could be worn over a plate carrier and fulfill a similar role as the TAPS

    Could you please make a vedio on how to make a modular OVERT Plate Carrier .For eg :The Warrior Assault DCS

    • @thriftyoperator637
      @thriftyoperator637  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I plan to make a video on an overt plate carrier but it will probably be a more simple design. Something like the DCS would end up being an hour long video

      I made this from some heavy cotton canvas. Lately I’ve been using either 500 or 1000d cordura nylon. The nylon is a lot more durable but is is harder to sew on a cheap machine.
