I'm late to the party, but these videos are great! Something else you could do with the front pocket - add a zipper. I have seen inserts for the JPC 2.0 that are small zippers with hook and loop on both sides. This could make it a little easier to get into the pouch.
Any plans to make a minuteman/civilian equivalent of a TAPS system? Something that attached to a plate carrier and functions as a standalone chest rig?
I plan to make a video on an overt plate carrier but it will probably be a more simple design. Something like the DCS would end up being an hour long video

I made this from some heavy cotton canvas. Lately I’ve been using either 500 or 1000d cordura nylon. The nylon is a lot more durable but is is harder to sew on a cheap machine.

@@Drunk-Mosquitos never too late. Thanks for the input.
Recently found this channel and I'm hooked. The fact that you're doing this is legit. Keep it up!
Awesome man. Cool to create exactly what you want. A nylon sewing intro / equipment video might do well these days.
Dude you’re a genius!! So glad I stumbled in to your channel! About eBay me a Sewing machine so I can accidentally sew my fingers together xD
This is awesome, I’d love to see more content like this man
Thanks, just comment if there is anything specific you would like to see.
Most under rated video on the tube. What material did you use?
I don’t remember what I made this from. I mostly use 500-1000 denier cordura now
This is super cool and for the record I will be trying it
Cool. Let us know how it turns out
@@thriftyoperator637 my local Joann’s only had 2inch elastic max where did u find the 4 inch also what strap material did u use
Amazon or eBay. Just search for nylon or elastic webbing in whatever width you want.
for the love of shit, keep uploading more videos like this, you are saving us a ton of money
What’s something y’all want to see?
@@thriftyoperator637 DIY fanny pack similar to those used by Qilo tactical and more dangling pouches, the whole gucci micro chest rig thing in general
Well I’ve already made one on a dangler pouch but I’ll look into the fanny pack

Probably not that exactly. I’ve made three chest rig videos and all there could be worn over a plate carrier and fulfill a similar role as the TAPS
Could you please make a vedio on how to make a modular OVERT Plate Carrier .For eg :The Warrior Assault DCS
