nice. im about to get a sewing machine to make my own custom flecktarn line since its so hard to find. your videos will help me if/when i get around to it. thank you. subscribed.
you can get rid of the twist by stopping in the middle when you sew all the way around and then doing the other side in the same direction so the foot doesnt drag the fabric in opposite directions
Bro thank you. This channel doesn’t have the following it should and I’m sorry. But god bless you bro! I’ve always wanted to learn to do this and I feel I can comfortably do it.
Can I ask what kind of thread you use ? I just got a sewing machine and trying to learn how to use it strictly to make stuff like this. Any specific needles ? Thanks I’m advance !
Not sure about your budget, but Sailrite makes some pretty beastie machines. I'm still learning but I took over my wife's LSZ1 zig zag. I can sew as many layers of cordura that can possibly be crammed under the foot.
Hey man could u do a video on a padded adjustable rifle sling. I bought a template from a guy on TH-cam with material list and for whatever reason no matter what I do i can't get the material tight against the foam like he has it. His video doesn't go into very good detail about it ur vid r perfect to understand. It's by snarky arts if u wonna see what I'm trying to accomplish.
Sorry to ask if you have done one already, but could you possibly do a video on how to make a triple m4 molle pouch? I want to try and make one for use on my jpc 1.0
@@thriftyoperator637 single stacked. sorry if that was unclear. something low profile (somewhat like a bfg triple) cause I am wanting to take a shot at making one for my pc.
@@beguinworkshop9068 look through my videos from about a year ago for one titled “how to make a mag pouch//plate carrier shingle”. That one isn’t molle though. I have seen a good video on one of those from another channel so you might search around.

Because all you have to do with that is sew a molle panel with straps, and then on top of that sew 6" elastic on top flat, and sew vertical stiches 2.5" apart. If you want a velcro closure, sew velcro onto the elastic before you sew it on, and sew a the velcro flap as you sew the molle.
I've been really into your videos lately and gonna try making my own pouches and such. I see you get your Cordura from Amazon, is that reliable? How do you know when it's crappy material? Also what is an okay price for Cordura? Cause I see a lot of sites, some are expensive as hell and others really cheap!
Amazon is good if you are just buying for one project but if you want to buy in bulk I would recommend rockywoods.com. Last time I bought material it was around $10 per yard.
Great video! 2 questions….. how heavy duty of a sewing machine does one need? I’ve been eyeing an Amazon special for a while. Why not Malice clips instead of the string method
@@TheFinalAppeal I haven’t used many machines so I can’t speak for most but I used the super cheap brother sewing machine that I have linked for a long time and it did pretty good. hey if you dont mind me chiming in, I would not get that cheap brother sewing machine, No disrespect to the channel owner, but that brother will give you more headaches then help, I wouldnt go any cheaper then the Singer heavy duty 4432, and if you want anything heavier, get a sailrite clone, like a sewstrong , or Rex607 for $399 or $499 with a 9" bed, which is what I use, (I have a video)with a Sailrite balance wheel upgrade, now thats a power house, second to getting a industrial sewing machine, plus its mobile. Great job. You should do a video on single SMG stick mag pouches and pistol pouches.
Which type of cordura do you recommend for pouches?
It doesn’t really make a difference to me. I use 500 and 1000

Can anyone recommend a good sewing machine to do this kind of work?

nice thred injector

I made this pouch? It is too short for a 30 round mag but a 20 should fit well.
Is this big enough for an AK mag?
Probably not. Just make the flap a bit longer and make the pouch larger.

Do you remember what double sided tape you used?
Dollar tree. Most stuff will work
