@@anonanon2749 that's literally how it should be. Interviews should establish a connection so both parties are comfortable Then have a conversation. Yes the person getting interviewed should be doing most of the talking. That's how you get information from anyone.
Try to use this tip when talking to potential people you want in your life.

That was a MAJOR disappointment of when Robin Williams did the Inside The Actor's Studio series. I'm not saying he had to act like he was there sitting shiva or something, but I figured it'd be a proper, more analytical look at his work and his craft. It wound up being like 90% Williams being "on" like he always is if there's a camera.

Will Ferrell is such a master of comedy. Just watch the bloopers for the episode of Eastbound, and down that he was in. You can tell everything he's saying is all improvisation. None of the actors in the scene could keep a straight face. Even Ferrell himself couldn't help but laugh at himself. Nobody can improve like that. Just came up with such funny material off the top of his head, at the drop of a dime.

@@iggystardust9236 He did brownface in Austin Powers, which I think if asked he would probably say he regrets doing it (can't see that he's ever been asked about it). I don't think it's really fair to single him or any actor out for doing black/brownface though, because someone has written it, someone else has cast it, someone's directed it, etc. All that said, the fact that his character was Turkish/Egyptian didn't really seem to play into the comedy at all, except for wearing a funny little hat.

I'm not a huge fan of Ferrell, and I find most his comedic roles to be....let's say not really my taste.
But, that being said, he is quite an amazing dramatic actor. Stranger Than Fiction, while pretty "out there" is a really great performance by him, as the shut in tax accountant who falls in love, and the sudden rush of actual feelings that messes up his entire scheduled and planned out life.
Also in Everything Must Go, where he plays an alcoholic who lose his job and his wife on the same afternoon, is one of my favourite performances of his. It's tragic comedy, in a way, as he sets up a yard sale to sell everything he owns, while camping out outside his house (that his wife has now taken possession of) and drinking himself into a stooper.
I wish he would do more dark and/or drama roles.

Eveyone’s too sensitive about something, but that’s totally okay. If you have body issues that tie into self esteem, it makes sense that you wouldn’t want that to be publicly mocked on a national level. I’m not saying it couldn’t be funny, but it’s a valid thing to be hurt by if it’s about something that hurts and/or affects you. 🤷‍♀️
Not trying to lecture or anything- I just think it’s valid, imo, to have something offend you and understand that it may not affect someone else in the same way for whatever reason.

The point Will is driving home is not to censor yourself. Creativity suffers under self doubt. There is way more creative genius that has come from Will as a result of this when compared with the few that get offended. We are so blessed to have Will entertain us.
