The male doll at 17:36 might be a Royal Canadian Mounted Police doll. From 1936. Would have to see more of him to be sure. Love your haul! I’m working on an altered book with the theme of dolls and buttons. Love working with images of dolls.
Was curious about the “rekord” doll, so I looked on TH-cam and found someone demonstrating a restored one that is 102 years ago….the sound that comes out of her is delightfully creepy. I believe I would have been terrified if I had received her as a child. Thanks for sharing your trip to the doll lady, I love misfits.
Years ago my husband had a year long job in Maryland, and we were able to go to auctions and church sales. It was marvelous! There is nothing like that here in Northern California, so I really enjoy your videos and wish I were there with you!
I used to be a serious antique doll collector. I had dolls from covered wagon era up to antique German dolls. I sold most of them, but this video, at the doll shop tugged at my heart. I still LOVE them. That big cracked up doll would make a great Halloween prop and the unusual character faces of the dolls you bought are fantastic! Age wear is my style too. What fun! Loved this trip.
Great Doll haul! I think I’m the only guy who loves creepy dolls. Lol My favorite dolls I love to collect also are the Misfits. The more Jacked Up to me, are the best ones. I never have seen a Rekord Phonograph doll 😱. Another favorite dolls I love to collect are the Antique Schoenhut Wood Jointed Dolls from the early 1900s. Great video as always.
Wonderful haul Tina! The huge penny/carnival doll was one of my favorites with that outfit. I am simpatico with your expression of running a "rescue" in your home for the unwanted babies...I feel like I'm starting to run an orphanage for dolls, teddy bears & rabbits 🤣.
The guy in red you thought was a Soilder is supposed to be a Mounty which is basically a Canadian Police Officer, they wear that uniform with a Smoky the Bear looking hat and ride a horse. I have a kid leather body doll with wooden hands and I call her Evelyn, my cat is really drawn to her, i think she is haunted but has a very peaceful spirit, i got her for $5 at an antique store, I have two other antique dolls that are bigger, Stanley and Genevieve, she is a German doll but with a French name, her name came to me, same with Stanley and Evelyn, Stanley is one of the oldwr composite dolls most call them Girls, but, I got a boy feeling off him. I have other dolls, but those three are my pride, all three have teeth as well.

Someone else said the same. You guys are probably right. Yes, anything related to dolls is awesome! ❤️

@clairemillette4645 I know, I thought it was gonna be pricey, but she goes to so many auctions that she gets stuff really cheap.
