I have never understood why some booths have things in their booths that say not for sale. Like you said the tables make sense but decor why put it there if it's not for sale?😢

I don't think that buying retail to sell retail is generally profitable, unless you can buy from a downscale market & sell to an upscale market. Got to hit those thrift stores, yard sales, & estate sales! But it's fun to look at antique malls, see what the prices are, & sometimes find what my friends & I call a "bargoon!" Also fun for your viewers!

you can make the cloche. Its a fishbowl turned upside down with a silverplate top glued on. I have made them before

It was just too Special of a piece Tina you know that. I understand about being on a tight budget but that piece was a once in a lifetime grab. I have never seen it or anything close to it. I'm almost 70. I surely thought that since you were in the meat & potatoes area of the Antique malls in the Ohio valley. I thought for sure you would get better deals. Boy was I wrong❤ So sorry!Plus who can go through an Antique Mall in 1 hour? Not me! Thanks for taking us along it was great 👍❤

Happy New Year! Thanks for the shopping trip. I am a sucker for antique tarnished silver myself. In fact I had collected way too many large trays and recently donated some. We used them to display on in the shop, and even made table tops on small wood tables using them. I used to find them at Goodwill at an affordable price, but now not so much. I'd like to find some smaller old silver for some projects I'm planning. I know...good luck with that. Well, at least I'm thinking ahead, planning for the new year. I guess that's progress.
