I just bought this exact machine and I I’m a super visual learner and I was finding the crummy black and white manual frustrating so I REALLLLY appreciate you taking the time to make this video!!
Omg!! thank you so much for your video. I bought the same machine and honestly, I have had so many problems with it, the needle thread keeps on coming after trimming, sometimes it works for a little bit, and then it does it again. Now the tension goes out of balance. I will try your recommendation and see if it works for me. Thank you again.
I feel the same way about the manual. I appreciate the tutorials as there is not much out there about this machine, and I was stressing about it thinking I may have bought a unpopular machine. Please keep the videos coming. Thank you
Hello! Thank you for the videos you’ve made! I’m wondering…how do you actually set the numbers, or can you lead me to a place where I can find out? The manuals leave a lot to be desired and I can’t figure it out for anything!
Hi. Do you have the manual called DISPLAY SCREEN AND OPERATION. It has a list of the numbers and how to set up your machine. It’s primitive but got me through most issues I was having. If I get some time, I’ll make a video about how to use the screen and manual.
Can you control the speed of the machine manually with the foot pedal? For example, when I'm rounding corners, can I let off the foot pedal some and slow it down?
Yes. The pedal does control the speed, like a home machine. You can also adjust speed thru the computer, telling it the slowest you want it and the fastest you want it, then your pedal stays in between those speeds. Sorry for the late response.
What's up with the rubber corner pieces for the oil pan? I bought this machine from the same company you did, and it appears they are sending out the wrong table for this machine after doing some research. I've been waiting 3 weeks for rubber pieces they didn't include, and they sent some that look like yours but they don't fit, too big. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Oh, yes! They did the same to me. The rubber bits needed to be cut down to fit the shape of the table. I shortened them and cut around them to fit in the corners. I could trim them a little shorter but they are ok. Machine is pretty level so I didn’t mess with them any more. I did sand them so they didn’t look like I cut them but I feel like I did not need to do that because you barely see them when installed.
@@CRGL1 I'm currently talking to the company and demanding they send me the correct table for this machine. Whoever is sending this out is sending the wrong table. Mine even has a cut out for a belt, which this machine clearly is not a belt drive motor. Wrong table they are sending out and it's not good business to do this.
@@dadatee1089 Apparently Juki is shipping them out to suppliers with the wrong tables, and they won't do anything to fix it. We reached out to Juki and everything. We purchased another one of these machines, but before purchasing, asked them to send the correct table this time. There actually isn't a table made specifically for this machine either. You have to get the Consew table for the similar Consew model machine.
No matter what I do, when using automatic thread trimming, it seems to cut the top thread too short, then when starting the next stitch, it pops out of the needle. Is there a setting to fix this? The entire reason I bought this machine was for the automatic thread trimming, but if I have to constantly thread the needle between each stitch, it defeats the entire purpose and takes even more time than cutting thread manually. Frustrating.
Can you look to see if the thread clamping device is turned on? If it is off, turn on. If it’s on, try changing the angle. All of these would be done thru settings. Or lower thread trimming speed. Look at your display screen manual to find these settings. Write down changes as you go so you can go back if you adjust too much. Gosh, I hope this helps you in some way.
@@CRGL1 I was not aware of a thread clamping device. I will check the settings tomorrow. In my mind I was thinking, there should be something clamping the thread after it cuts to prevent it from bouncing up through the needle hole, or when you start a new stitch. It mainly happens when starting a new stitch because when it cuts the thread, it cuts it too short on the top and won't start a new stitch, pops out of needle hole.
@@fulltangtactical yes, that clamping device should pinch the thread for a sec just after cutting so it does not come out of the needle so you are ready for your next stitch. It is the flat matte finish silver thread guide just before you thread the needle area. Good luck to you! (I put a short up showing the clamping device in action)
@@CRGL1 Update, I was able to eliminate the thread cutting issue with the thread coming out of the needle each time by bypassing upper top loops for thread. Instead, I go through the holes on the front before the first tension disc. Completely eliminated the issue.
I have this same machine! After two years I still love it and I do alot of bag making for my small business.
I just bought this machine. So grateful for this tutorial. Keep them coming please.

Hi! I am thinking of purchasing one of these machines from Juki Junkies too. I was wondering…does the table come with the machine?
Hi. Yes, this comes with the table. This machine uses an oil pan that it sits in, the table holds the oil pan. It’s such a great machine!

@@CRGL1 it is not clamping during cutting. Only before the initial stitch. I can't seem to find the setting for this
